I think the GJ is done. I believe they can wait until November in case more information comes in but I do think they are finished. Just a feeling. I also think by what is going on today that the DOJ found nothing wrong within the department, they are good to go. It is possible that nothing significant surfaced from DOJ's meeting the other night. I also hope that whoever the DOJ spoke with will get a letter from the DOJ explaining why their issues are no different than the rest of the citizens in the US and those that have real problems are addressed. Not sure what the weather is like in November in MO but I think it is a good choice to wait until then to release their findings. jmo

I want to see the letter DOJ sent to the rioters about threatening to murder LE and their families. Just ridiculous how some ideologies feed into the protestors' paranoia and blaming.

I've gotta say on one hand I can understand the stance on the bracelets while on duty, b/c LE is supposed to remain unbiased. BUT, and it's a bolded, all caps caveat, being unbiased works both ways and I've yet to see the DOJ act in an unbiased manner in this case (or any case really but that's a discussion for another time). I can't read the letter, so I'm not sure of its tone, but if their actions last night are any indication, I'm guessing it's not supportive.
