Wouldn't surprise me. Pretty cynical, but... :dunno:
Or they could be waiting until they have prepared for the reactions... By winning over more average citizens weary of the protesters... And locking up as many of the agitators as they can...
(Re any codes or laws regulating the timing of GJ findings, I'm clueless, but yeah... Good question.)

I think the GJ is done. I believe they can wait until November in case more information comes in but I do think they are finished. Just a feeling. I also think by what is going on today that the DOJ found nothing wrong within the department, they are good to go. It is possible that nothing significant surfaced from DOJ's meeting the other night. I also hope that whoever the DOJ spoke with will get a letter from the DOJ explaining why their issues are no different than the rest of the citizens in the US and those that have real problems are addressed. Not sure what the weather is like in November in MO but I think it is a good choice to wait until then to release their findings. jmo
