Every case is different and has to be looked at differently. We can't lump all situations into one category. If we all did that here at WS there would be no objectivity and all cases would be considered the same. They are not. There are different situations, difference evidence, different reasons when people are shot and killed. Investigations are meant to bring out the truth and more so today than ever before. Our focus is on this particular case, not others that are not comparable by the evidence that is presented.

It was so ridiculous the way he kept saying he was over giving all the ' free publicity' to Subway. Seriously? How many people does he think are watching, and how many are going to go eat at Subway because he just ordered a sandwich?

but i must say race and this case go hand and hand

so why must we censor ourselves or narrow the discussion?

we are all adults here

This is not a racial issue and we are not going to make it one. There are those that feel it is racial but we are not looking at it as a racial issue. The protesting is another matter but it is related to Michael Brown's death. We do not get into discussions because obviously there are different perceptions as to what is the real issue. A young man is dead and he was shot by a police officer. That is the real issue. We want to know what happened. No one can say it was based on race because there is no evidence, none, nada. We, as a community, cannot help our young men stay out of trouble to keep them safe unless we know exactly what happened here. And they will find out. Some may not like the results and if the officer was wrong he will go to trial. Calling for his death and threatening the lives of the LE families does nothing in terms of what the protestors are trying to achieve.
