Why keep posting something that is false? You ask where it says otherwise and it has been posted several times in response to that request.Especially when Wilson didn't know that at that time..
This is why the release of that store video should have been held until the investigations were done. Then, if they find that Wilson was justified in his actions, you pull out the video and other evidence that corroborates that. Then go on to say, there will be no charges filed.
Yes, it's only from the first night though I think.
I think your post is great:thumbup::thumbup:, except that I worry about the DOJ's objectivity.Thank Goodness the DOJ and the FBI are in charge of the investigation. I think with these two independent agencies in charge, we're more likely to get to the facts of the matter, or as close to the facts as possible, given the circumstances.
I hope that peace prevails if the investigation determines the shooting was justified or if the findings are inconclusive. But with the unrest and the violence on the part of some that we've seen this past week, I fear there may be even more unrest and violence unless Wilson is indicted.
One of the things that stands out to me regarding Wilson is that he has a 6 year exemplary record serving as a police officer in both Jennings and in Ferguson. Six months ago, he earned a commendation for his extraordinary effort in the line of duty.

It seems to me that if he had a history of problematic behavior in the line of duty, he wouldn't have been awarded the commendation. Plus, with the FOIA, it seems to me that the press would have discovered any disciplinary actions against him if they existed.
I understand that folks are outraged that an unarmed 18 year old was shot and killed. I fully support the family and the community in their quest for answers. If it was my loved one, I'd want answers, as well. If it was my loved one, I'd be angry and hurting, too. If it was my loved one, I'd probably be blaming LE and demanding justice.
Since it's thankfully not my loved one, I can look at the situation less emotionally and wait for the facts to come out before pointing fingers.
As someone on the outside looking in, I must say that I'm opposed to vilifying an officer who, to date, seems to have exercised his sworn duty to protect and serve without violating departmental procedure or the law, as far as the public is aware. Until and unless it's proven that he was anything but the exemplary officer he's reputed to be, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in this tragic situation.
Yes he did, and I heard him (or a different atty there in Ferguson- not sure) say the same thing yesterday too. Made me stop and take notice when I heard it, but I heard Crump say that today too. There must be something either in his past they know is coming out or something in toxicology or autopsy like you said, imo. They are gearing up for something seems like. But really, the only thing that matters is what happened during the shooting imo. That info isn't out yet but already many have tried and convicted Wilson of murder. To many, there's no need for all the details, that's sad.
Bahhhh haaaa haaaaa!
Yeah, he's there to help!

Yes, and I can't find the arrest records for St. Louis County.

How are they whipping each side up?
it's not false, the Chief said it, then miraculously a BOLO came a minute later and Wilson then backed up due to seeing the description and approached DJ and MB..
I don't post false information, I just might not be on the side of the fence you or anyone else sits..
Just reposting since it seems that some are concerned IF Mike was shot in the back:

Unless I'm mistaken, they condemned the release of the surveillance video. If so, I don't trust them, even though I understand their participation might be necessary to quell others' distrust, they shouldn't do it by suppressing evidence at the expense of the officer.
Do you think there was no BOLO? Do you believe it's a lie?

I disagree with withholding the surveillance video as it goes to show the mind set MB was in at the time. Also Wilson didn't initially stop them based on the robbery but it's been stated that he backed up to them because of the BOLO.
