There are protestors marching that were killed by LE?![]()
Sorry for my clumsy wording. Hopefully the larger point came across. If you disagree that's fine.

We are receiving multiple calls for shots fired in the area of W. Florissant and Canfield. Please watch your surroundings and be safe.
So, when did the police first mention the cigars?
Because from what I had been hearing from the police--and I just went back and watched a few videos of police press conferences and interviews from last week--Wilson stopped them because of jaywalking. Not because he soon realized they might be the cigar suspects. The cigars were first mentioned by the police in connection with Wilson stopping the men almost a week after the shooting: late on Friday, after two confusing police press conferences had already taken place.
So, if this is now suddenly so obvious and if those are supposedly the facts, why did it take so long for the police to put out that narrative? Why wait until late Friday afternoon? And why didn't they arrest Dorian Johnson on Saturday if Wilson knew he was a suspect. After all, Dorian is on the robbery report as an accomplice. And, furthermore, why is there an item on a police event report from that day over 6 hours after Wilson stopped the men that says: "Still see no one matching that description."
Which is all very odd, since someone had already mentioned the cigars last Tuesday, not Friday. The first person to mention the cigars, as far as I know, was Dorian Johnson himself, in his interview on Tuesday with Al Sharpton. He may have even mentioned it earlier, for all I know. So if Dorian was talking about the cigars then, why did the police wait until Friday, when they needed three tries to finally get their account of this straight?

It's working for me.
SABBMSchool is on hold, at least that was teh last thing I heard. they have put it on hold until things calm down. As far as why they are protesting at night, they want to show police that the can protest anytime they want to. Including at night. Its there first amendment right!

Yep but I somehow i dont think that curfew is gonna be followed tonite Fireworks being set off!SABBM Except , if there is a curfew in place. Otherwise, yes, citizens can and should protest police wrongdoing ; just not sure that has been established at all. MOO
I do, but I just ended up muting it for a while. Giving me a headache.

Not to single you or this post out, GardenLady, as it's only a small hint of a line of thought I've been noticing...The issue is larger than just the case of MB. Failure to understand that is part of what fuels the anger of the protestors.

Don't they enjoy the same right to peaceful assembly? I've yet to see any evidence Officer Wilson hassled or harassed or killed Brown for no other reason than they were black men, I'd sure like to see it. If that was the case, why didn't he fire at Johnson? I think any man walking in the street would be told by a patrol cop to move to the sidewalk. In my neck of the woods, that's hardly considered hassling or harassment.
