This is just riling these people up even more! And they don't have to leave by law until midnight. Damn this went south fast!!!!!

That's if they were being peaceful. Which they most decidedly were not.

Watching Vice's live feed, I'm cracking up, thinking, "Hey, it's Skinny Pete!" :D

(Breaking Bad viewers will know I mean. ;) )

Can you link me to that feed too please.

I can accept that it happens. I'm sure that it happens. There are a lot of a******s out there. But how is this insanity going to help? I think the real civil rights leaders, protesters etc would be ashamed of this. Jmo

clarify my post- I meant the real men and woman who changed a country 50 years ago.

I wanted to add - I'd LIKE to see a sit in, but it sounds from reports like that won't happen tonight. Sounds like the adults are at home and the hotheaded youth are out instead. Concerned protestors really need to show up!

You're right, but I'm not sure who's anatagonizing who right now. This is not solving anything, IMO.

IMO this whole mess is easy to understand.

I'm interested in hearing your opinion on that. Could you flesh it out?

What I don't understand is why the tear gas and smoke is being shot towards the media. I mean I am not following this closely and I agree if people are being violent or doing something wrong def step in but I also think that the police are just out of control too.

At the end of the day, we have laws and law enforcement for a reason.
It's not so criminals can loot, rob and shoot each other at will.

All IMO

That's if they were being peaceful. Which they most decidedly were not.

All they are doing is validating the point that if police hassle them, it's because they've done something to attract police attention. In that regard, it's no different than Johnson and Brown's open defiance of walking down the street.

If you look for the stories, you will see that the violence IS absolutely condemned by those who are simply wishing to protest and make their anger and grievances known.
