Chest??? Huh???

STL sent the original story out that I posted here... it went out on twitter to other media.
Sure, it's possible---it just doesn't make any sense to me. If he was shot in the right arm and turned around, I would think it would be an automatic response to grab his wound with his left hand----not hold up both arms. And when he was shot 3 more times in his right arm, I would think he would fall backwards---not forwards.
On MSNBC's The Ed Show on Monday, Missouri state senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal said that the results of a private autopsy, which were released last night, show that Michael Brown was "assassinated" by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson.
"I do have to tell you, looking at the autopsy report last evening, um, it looks like Michael Brown was just killed. It was an assassination, and many of the community members are waiting for this police officer to be arrested. They're waiting for a grand jury and an indictment. And so, until that happens, I still see unrest. And many of the people want to continue to protest in peace."
Schultz also asked the senator if she felt there would continue to be unrest until and unless there is "legal action taken against the shooter."
"Yes, there must be an arrest," said Chappelle-Nadal.

Will anything change today to prevent further violence tonight? Can anything prevent further violence tonight besides the arrest of Office Williams? I also notice increased comments in the media about the fact he is on paid leave right now. jmo
I still think this is where Michael Browns palm hand was hit. Reaching for the police officers gun.But he could possibly have been hit else where too.It says here his gun was turned against his hip at some point. What would that mean?
<modsnip>
This is also ME distinction - He was indeed "wounded" in the chest, even if the initial hit didn't enter the chest.Chest??? Huh???
From the diagram it looks like there was a gun shot to his upper arm shoulder? and it exited out though his chest area. This is also ME distinction - He was indeed "wounded" in the chest, even if the initial hit didn't enter the chest.
It doesn't make sense to me either, and although it can be offered as a possibility, there aren't enough known facts to take it as anything more than that. it's why Baden gave/is giving both scenarios EVERY TIME he offers his opinion. The "witness" accounts are suspect IMO b/c they've changed and their assertions that he was shot in the back have definitively been shown to be false. MBs friend kept saying MB was forecably grabbed by the neck, and that Wilson was trying to pull him into the car. There was no mention of any bruising or marks on MBs neck, and there should be if that's what happened.
IA we don't have all the facts, and that's why I'm upset with the way Parcells is presenting things during his TV appearances. I also saw Wetcht last night and he is giving a very emphatic opinion without having been part of the autopsy. I especially took exception to his claim that MB posed no threat. He has no basis for making such a claim. He was not there, and he did not take part of any apsect of the investigation. That is a complete reach. This unfortunately is what "news" has become. Sensationalize first, and find out about the facts later.
And without all the facts, Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal shouldn't be stating...

She is not an expert in forensics, nor does she have all the facts, and this type of rhetoric only seves to fan the flames of outrage in the community.
All MOO
I have not see any reports of MB being shot in the car. I believe all the shots happened in the street. To me if he had been shot in the car because he was struggling with gun and there was proof of that they would have offered it as a reason this guy was shot in the first place.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/08/13/ferguson-protests-continue/13989945/Johnson, Brown's friend and witness to the shooting, was summoned by police and FBI on Wednesday to give his account. He said has moved from his apartment with his girlfriend and young daughter because he fears retaliation from police.
Dorian Johnson said he was walking with Michael Brown on Aug. 9, 2014, when a Ferguson, Mo., officer fatally shot the unarmed teen.
"I left because I feared that if I stayed, something would happen to me. I felt like if they would have gotten me, they would have done anything possible to make sure I couldn't come forth and give my side of what happened," Johnson told KSDK.
Johnson said the incident started around 1:40 p.m. Saturday when the officer pulled up beside the pair as they were walking down the street near his grandmother's house.
"He didn't say freeze, halt or anything like we were committing a crime," Johnson told KSDK. "He said, 'Get the 'F' on the sidewalk.'"
He said the officer, whose name has not been released, shoved open the car door, grabbed Brown around the neck and tried to pull him through the window. He said Brown never tried to reach for the officer's weapon.
"The second time he says, 'I'll shoot.' A second later the gun went off and he let go," Johnson said. "That's how we were able to run at the same time."
Johnson said he ducked behind a car as the officer continued shooting at them, hitting Brown in the back.
"His (Brown's) hands immediately went into the air and he turned around to the officer," Johnson recalled. "My friend started to tell the officer that he was unarmed and that he could stop shooting (him). Before he could get his second sentence out, the officer fired several more shots into his head and chest area. He fell dramatically into the fatal position. I did not hear once he yell freeze, stop or halt. it was just horrible to watch."
You haven't seen any? I have seen lots.

POTUS visit to Ferguson not out of question in future. But would tax law enforcement resources needed to calm tensions now, per WH.

On a somewhat related point, has anyone else noted the positioning of MB's arms in the store video and how his "open" stance exposes the medial aspects of his arms?
I don't know if it's due to his size, physiology, or aggression, but it seems important to me. Imo
If he visits Ferguson, then he needs to visit every family in Chicago who has lost someone to gun violence!
