Another officer involved shooting in St. Louis near Ferguson

Before two officers fired at the man, the officers asked him to stop and drop the knife, but the man continued to approach one of the officers, Dotson said. The officers fired after the suspect came within about 4 feet of one of the officers.

Absolutely Agree! We saw what he did just before this. He has been using his size to intimidate, jmo. The way he pumped himself to the store clerk like he was the boss. When he hit the street with that wad of cigarillos he was saying here I am, I dare someone to get in my way. I truly don't think he walked out and looked at his friend and said I don't know what I was thinking when I walked out without paying. When Officer Wilson arrived and told them to get out of the middle of the road, ( no they were not crossed the street )jmo MB still was pumped/heart still racing with adrenaline from the store theft, with his previous run ins he knew he would come up on the computer in Wilson's vehicle, probably including the juvie record too. He probably felt like he was going down once the stealing was found out about, he may have thought Wilson already knew. idk I don't know about the repeat offender laws there, but it seems he was one. jmo idk

The store owner and the alderman told police the suspect was armed with a knife and talking to himself.

One officer got out of the patrol car, and when the suspect displayed his knife, the officers drew their weapons.

Dotson says the suspect walked toward the officer still sitting in the patrol car, and when he moved between three and four feet from the vehicle holding the knife, both officers fire their weapons, striking him.

Yes, I watch him too. It really is hard to get a full picture by watching any one stream, reporter or twitter feed though. These "protesters" are spread out into a couple groups/areas every night. A part of them seemed to be very organized last night as well. jmo

That's why I love the fact that we have several feeds and several people reporting on those feeds. That's the only way to get the full picture of what's going on IMO.

A guy with a knife is advancing within arms reach ....he Needs to be STOPPED!

I think that holder will go there and be the one that discloses the shooting was justified and he will save the day and the rioters will go away. jmo idk Because they trust him.

I said earlier that I hope he will try and defuse the situation. Idk if he's going to announce the "the shooting was justified" though, b/c according to all the news channels, they plan to start GJ proceedings tomorrow.

Maybe he is going to announce some of the main "findings" of the investigation. Typically we get a lot more info released, maybe that's what he'll do :dunno:
