Good Morning!

Let today be the day that
Calmer heads prevail.
Only true words are spoken.
Those feeling loss and despair are shown compassion and respect.

For the men and woman that Americans are supposed to look to for justice and guidance, may you remember your oath and have the strength to fulfill it.

And nasty.

Check the FB page of radio station 100.7 Viper. It is a Troy MO radio station. Gonna be lots of splody heads of that is true.

:scared: If that is true, I'm really scared for the people of Ferguson.

Why are they protesting at the GJ today? Do they understand how it works? Do they expect to see Officer Wilson to be there? Anyone have any thoughts on today's protest plans?

God help us all.

Morning all.

Seems like it stayed quite in the streets?

Before I finally nodded off, Megan Kelly was on again, and they reached out to the Govs office re: his latest statement, in particular the issue of "vigorous prosecution," and the spokesperson replied "we stand by our position."

Unbelievable.

Sounds silly to say, One prosecution should not be more vigorous then the other so I don't see why he had to say that. IIRC the GJ will dictate whether or not there will be a prosecution. Maybe I'm confused.

Report: Man resisting arrest referenced Michael Brown during traffic stop: A Spartanburg County man was arrest... http://tinyurl.com/mdgb372

Great  My beautiful state of South Carolina.

ETA: I once was pulled over for not wearing my seatbelt several years ago. I did NOT get out of my car and walk toward the officer. I was taught that if you get pulled over, stay in your car (unless otherwise directed by LE) and have your license, registration and proof of insurance card ready to hand over when LE gets to your window.

Also, last night the officer was over the loud speaker was asking protesters to please replace and not remove the street signs, and to please not throw rocks at the officers.

The protesters are removing street signs? Really? :gaah:

We saw something amazing! We watched an entire community support all police departments involved with the Ferguson riots by donating tons of food and drinks. It makes us feel good. http://fb.me/3jEZrvFlR

Intimidation of the grand jurors.

Blue porch lights, Darren Wilson T-shirts part of growing support for Ferguson officer

Porch lights — many of them illuminating blue — are being left on in St. Louis and across the country in a show of support for the Missouri police officer who shot and killed an unarmed young man 10 days ago.

“Walmart in Desoto, Mo was out of blue bulbs,” Brian Christopher commented on the “Support Darren Wilson” Facebook page. “I'll take this as a magnificent sign of support!”

At least a half a dozen pro-Wilson pages have popped up on Facebook in recent days. Combined, the pages are approaching 100,000 likes. An online campaign to help the Wilson family with “any financial needs they may have including legal fees” has taken in nearly $40,000 in two days.

As of this morning the online fund for Officer Wilson has reached $60k and is rapidly growing as word spreads.

:scared: If that is true, I'm really scared for the people of Ferguson.

It really bothers me that people need to be afraid of violence if things don't go the way some people want them to. Sometimes it seems there is a threat of violence hanging over our heads, and I find this totally unacceptable. If people want equality, to be treated with respect, they need to act in a responsible, respectable, non-threatening manner. At this point, I believe that goes for the governor also, since he is an "elected" office, supposed to represent everyone.

That's why, if you read back many here were flipping out over his statement. You can't vigorously prosecute someone before the investigation is even over. Now if he had said, "vigorously investigate" that would have been appropriate.

I found the transcript from Dr. Drew last night. Here is what was said that I whole heartedly agree with. The lady is CRYSTAL WRIGHT from CONSERVATIVEBLACKCHICK.COM

WRIGHT: But how -- Samantha, you know, I don`t like the paternalistic view that you`re taking because the majority of the protesters and the
rioters are black. I doubt you would be saying the same thing if the majority of the protesters were white.

And this is the problem I have with this whole narrative that we have concocted, the mainstream media. The majority of the violent rioters are
black. You had a gentleman quoted in "The Washington Post" today, he said, "I`m homeless, and I came to Ferguson to get justice. If I have to do it
with violence, that`s what I`m going to do."

And when it comes to blacks and crime and white cop killing the black kid, I constantly many am disgusted by the media walking on egg shells
around the facts. Example and then I will stop talking. "The Philadelphia Daily News" decided to pull a photo of rioters looting because it painted
the black rioters in a bad light. News is about not sanitizing the news. If it was OK to release the officer`s name, Darren Wilson, it`s OK to
release video of Michael Brown before he was arrested, stealing cigarettes and roughing up a clerk.

We need to stop the political correctness. I think it is horrible that the young man was shot six times in the front. But even the examiner,
the New York examiner, who did an autopsy said, we do not have enough information to draw conclusions.

This is why blacks and whites are now hating each other in suspect. It makes me weep as a daughter of a civil rights -- my parents who lived
through segregation, it makes me want to cry. I should not hate you and judge you because you`re white.

And this is wrong what we`re doing. This is wrong.

I have been following your postings for several days now. I live on the opposite side, the state actually in KS, but close to Kansas City.

I think you will like this Story about Parcell's:

“I am a forensic pathologist assistant and medical investigator,” Parcells told FOX 4’s Shannon O’Brien.

However, that’s something of a dubious title according to forensic pathologist Dr. Erik Mitchell.

“That is a degree that does not exist in my knowledge, except in the mind of Shawn Parcells,” Dr. Mitchell said.

sbm

Dr. Young responded with this statement:

“Shawn hung out at the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office but was not trained by me.”…. “He has been representing himself in a way that is not appropriate by giving forensic pathology opinions when he is not qualified to do so.”

There is much more to the story so I hope you read it. Thanks

Anyone remember Mike Nifong and the Duke rape case? Sounds like they are going down the same path.

I do believe SStarr33 called this earlier tonight.

In order run their playbook, they need a quarterback who will be loyal to them.

The board reviewed information from former apprentice/assistant funeral director and funeral establishment owner Shawn L. Parcells. His Caney funeral home and crematory were closed in October of 2007. Mr. Parcells did not complete his funeral directing apprenticeship, and he has not sent back the funeral establishment or crematory licenses as he had agreed to do several times.

Exactly. I live in the community where one of the main "defendant's" family lives.

The rush to judgement was off the charts!
