In response to our lawsuit for #MikeBrown shooting report, STL County Police Dept released: http://bit.ly/1q15tTT
All I would be thinking is get the h3!! out of there.
MB was NOT jaywalking, why do people keep saying that? Because it sounds so "harmless"??
Jaywalking is CROSSING the street outside of a crosswalk, it is NOT sauntering down the MIDDLE of the street obstructing traffic!
And I will add obstructing traffic after he just ROBBED a store nearby, and even after a COP just asked him to get out of the road is truly amazing bold and provocative! It was like he was BEGGING to be arrested or get into a confrontation with the authorities!
I don't get what you're saying..........if he had waited for back up, MB would have been pursued for "assaulting an officer" *allegedly*, and any ensuing response by backup would have been in accordance to MB's response when confronted by backup.
LE responds with deadly force when deadly force is deemed. Does an unarmed man warrant to be shot 6 times? And no one REALLY knows the facts on whether MB was surrendering or advancing.
We still don't have the FACTS as to what REALLY took place, every article since the shooting happened adds or subtracts info that claims to be accurate.
First we have Wilson doing a road clear for a "Health Check".
Then Wilson is looking for the men in the BOLO.
Then it's "Health Check" and heard BOLO after the initial stop.
Then it's "Health Check" and subjects continued in the middle of the road.
Subjects had the LE door slammed into them.
Subject approached door.
Subject was grabbed by LE.
LE grabbed subject.
Do we know if the shot fired in the vehicle hit MB? Or are we even sure the firearm WAS discharged in the vehicle?
And no one has seen Wilson's incident report. Why? Why, if this is such a cut a dry, MB was "advancing" in a threatening manner, has it not surfaced? Is it because it has to be carefully tailored to fit eyewitness statements?
My hinky meter is on. Something stinks in Denmark.
"Darren Wilson, the Ferguson, Mo., police officer whose fatal shooting of Michael Brown touched off more than a week of demonstrations, suffered severe facial injuries, including an orbital (eye socket) fracture, and was nearly beaten unconscious by Brown moments before firing his gun"

He is also a minister, procures 'tissue', does taxes, web design, sports management and business consulting. Busy guy.

I've wondered if the location played a part in MB's reaction to DW's order to halt. If it happened at the apt. complex where MB was known/lived, with curious neighbors looking on, 18 yo AA, adrenaline-filled MB may not have seen obeying Ofc. Wilson as an option. Sad, but DW wasn't the one who made bad decisions that day imo. MB was an aspiring rap artist, and I bet the lyrics to the videos he posted would help us understand him better.
Multiple witnesses in riot-torn Ferguson, Mo., said that the unarmed black teen killed by a white cop attacked the officer in his patrol car before the teen was shot, according to a new report.
Police sources tell me more than a dozen witnesses have corroborated cops version of events in shooting, St. Louis Post-Dispatch crime reporter Christine Byers tweeted, without elaborating.

What does that even mean? You also made a bad decision? It is not like joining automatically makes someone a good person. People used to be able to join the marines as a ways of serving serious jail time. I am not implying in anyway that is why you joined or many did, but the seems like an attempt to shut down any discussion on the role of gaining experience and maturity as one ages from a young adult to a more fully formed adult.

I am not trying to imply that many marines are like this one "bad apple" at all, but posters are quick to make sweeping generalization about poor minority youth with similar amounts of bad apples.
Linda, this is unrelated to the quote but when your son had his orbital fracture of the eye was he able to see clearly?
that's an interesting combo.
But I don't see Medical Examiner in there. But there was an interview with him I saw where he stated he was an ME :waitasec:
At the risk of intruding into your personal life Linda, could you share how he obtained his fracture?
I had an orbital blowout fracture, I did have to have surgery but not to repair that injury, and it was a result of being attacked by a large ex boyfriend. And I know the exact hit that did it; it was the first hit I received in the attack, and his fist was swung like a hammer, not knuckle first.
I found this article describing what exactly a blowout fracture is, among the other type of orbital fractures, and what the symptoms often are:

Odd it was printed by #rubme1 really? interesting user name just sayin..
I'm so jaded by all the spin, I can't stop myself from thinking about what he left out. As in, the part about what his client claimed happened in the physical struggle before Wilson chased MB.
After all, we have so many who want to convict the cop saying that "scuffle" didn't matter.
It matters a lot to me, so I want to know if his client has changed his story on that part.
