I was theorizing that the witness account about being shot in the stomach could have been him misconstruing that Brown was wounded by gunshot in the arm and
then clutched it to his stomach (called) "guarding" in the medical field.
Brown suffered four other gunshot wounds to his right arm and palm.

Two of the six bullets may have left and then re-entered Browns body, Baden said.

We were told one of those re-entries was from the wound near eye. It travelled down along the cheekbone and then exited. In the press conference where Dr. Baden and the alleged (since his qualifications have been questioned by many) forensics expert spoke and announced his findings he stated that several of the wounds to the arm were not entry wounds but grazing type of wounds, he then indicated where on the diagram the bullet holes (two) were and which bullet wounds were graze type wounds.

as to him not yelling in pain perhaps Mr. Brown felt it was more important to yell at the officer to stop shooting at him. As far as I know none of the witnesses have described his tone while yelling or if his yelling might have been indicating pain AND stop shooting. Is there a link indicating he was not in pain or that his yells are required to be "OW! that hurts?"
ETA I personally feel Mr Brown was rushing football tackle style at the officer and the officer perceived threat and fired his weapon at the advancing 18 year old. I also have followed enough cases to believe the studies that say eye witness accounts can be notoriously flawed and biased by their own life experiences and what they hear afterwards from others.
My theory on the arm wounds is that during the tackle rush his arms were pumping back and forth. I believe the bullets that entered his arm first grazed him as his arms were pointing and pumping forward toward the officer. I believe the facial gunshot wound was able to enter at the trajectory it did as described in the autopsy presser because he was head down and forward, again a football rushing stance. that is my current working theory. That theory is subject to change as more facts come to light.
