Well I can't disagree with Brown on that point. Jobs are very hard to get! I've been filling out applications since January and had my first interview this past Monday. And I have a Magna Laude university degree, a clean record, good credit rating and lots of experience and skills.

BBM My Father died May31 2010 Memorial day, it was about 90 degrees that day. He was out side doing yard work and had a heart attack. He lay in the yard for over 3 hours before a coroner from the next county showed up. He was a good cop, 32 years he was a good cop. Anne Arundel Co Fraternal Order 70 was his Lodge. I know he would be proud to read that. jmo

Thank you! To put things in perspective, here is how much worse the job market is now.

Time it took me to get a new job after losing one:
1990: 45 minutes
2005: 18 hours
2014: Months to get an interview - 8

I don't blame people for being discouraged even if I don't always approve of how they manifest their discouragement!

I most definitely do. And the ones I have seen had secondary lacerations involved with them. If you get hit hard enough in the face to cause a blowout #, chances are it is going to break skin as well. Again, just my experience and as I have said a few times now, it is irrelevant because it appears I was right. He did not have a fracture of any kind.

My friend's blow out had no skin breaks. He didn't even know it was a blowout until two days later when he bumped it - then it swelled, BIG time. Still, no blood. He mouthed off to a BIG guy, got punched for his trouble. It hurt, but didn't realize it was all that serious at first, then he went to the ER.

ETA for what its worth I have seen instances when a bad fracture of this sort has involved blood and where they didn't. Bones are sharp. The can create lacerations from inside.

Not sure why it matters since the injury reportedly did not occur. Moot point?

Can we just all agree that there has been no official release on the injuries of the officer, just that he was treated at the hospital and released? None of the links were from LE and basically are to be considered rumors.

I don't disagree with you, I am just saying I have seen blowouts quite a few times before and to ME it appeared officer Wilson did not look like he had just suffered one. And I was right. Forget about it. It's in the past. It's over now. He did not have a fracture. Doesn't mean much other than we are being fed a load of crap by those involved.

IMO CNN is who reported this spoon-fed info that Officer Darren Wilson, did not suffer a broken eye socket, and MB's attorney is where this x-ray mis-info originated, imo.

But CNN reported on Thursday that although the officer was taken to a hospital with a badly swollen face following the shooting on August 9, x-rays came back negative for any serious injury.
Earlier reports had claimed that the officer was almost knocked unconscious by Brown's blows, according to the source.

That is fair enough, I will do the same. However it does show us what is really happening here... There are unnamed sources lying to support a certain narrative. A lot of irresponsible journalism going on with this case.
