According to this article Jeremy has also been cleared. He says " I was at work. I've been cleared "...

Has LE said he's cleared? His saying he's cleared means nothing, really. Might be true, might not. Mom seems to be the focus, though, so maybe he's being truthful. If he wasn't really at work, LE would be all over him.

Or LE might believe the cell phone was turned off and buried in the brush nearby the house.

Absolutely... or tossed down the flood grates, hence looking down the manholes. To me this could still easily be an intruder who grabbed then pitched them.

I've been half following this in the news. I read today that the mother failed the polygraph. I haven't read this whole thread, just the last few pages of posts and I honestly don't know what to think about this. On one hand, she seemed so genuinely upset.

There are some people you can't believe at all, but I don't know. There was something about her emotion that seemed so raw. Not to be devil's advocate, but just because she may be lying about something doesn't mean she's lying about not knowing what happened to her baby. Maybe she had a guy over earlier in the night. Maybe she's worried about her husband finding out about something.

I'm also not sure why one would get rid of one kid, the youngest, but keep the older two. It's usually the older ones that are missing/killed, or all of them (if there's more than one child).

I hope baby Lisa is safe, wherever she is.

At the vigil tonite, there was a large presence of family and friends coordinating the disbursing of fliers.

Did Lisa's parents pay for the flyers?

So the family has a media deal with Fox News, the same network that has been leaking information that makes them look very suspicious? I know that agreeing to an exclusive with a media outlet doesn't mean that they will be unbiased and supportive towards you, but of all the ones to pick....Did they offer the highest price?

I don't understand this? I thought if you had a deal with a network (Fox), you wouldn't appear on other networks? Clearly I don't understand :( They've been on ABC & NBC....have they been on CBS?

But that is troubling, imo. If my daughter was missing then I would happily allow LE to interview my son, knowing he MAY have heard or seen something in the middle of the night. Why would I prevent LE from trying to get important info that might help them find my daughter ?

It is troubling. I agree, I would do whatever it takes, up to and including allowing any other children in the house to be questioned. If they are refusing to allow their children to be interviewed you have to wonder why. But I don't know that they haven't been interviewed. I was just responding to the statement that the police may have dropped the ball if they hadn't talked to the other children. LE doesn't have the legal right to interview the children without the parents permission.

I would be willing to bet there are a lot of information that the public does not know about just yet.

I don't see that Lisa's parents have turned their backs on LE at all. In fact it seemed like they were contrite and wanting to smooth things over. I felt desperation from the parents in their statement read last night after Young stated yesterday that:

The command center will be closed eventually. Don't know when that is.

Within an hour he tells a reporter that the command center is closing as the result of the parents not cooperating. Then today he states that's not what he meant. Well he said it! IMO, it sounds like LE took the strong arming too far and threatened to turn their backs on Lisa's parents. I know I know that LE has geographically exhausted that area. But Young said what he said. He put the blame squarely on the parents. You don't play ball with LE then we are taking our ball and going home. If these parents are innocent, that's a very cruel thing to do to them.

All the police have to go on is what the mother told them. If a poly detected deception in her answers, what else can LE do? LE has no idea where to even begin to look for Lisa if her mother refuses to be honest.

The boys are minors and as such the parents can stop LE from speaking with them if they so choose. Don't know if LE has talked to them or not but it's not automatic. In Gail Palmgren's case it has been 4 months and they have not been able to interview the children yet because the father would not permit it.

Now that would be big news in this case if the parents of these boys were preventing LE from talking to them. While I understand the legal ramifications, lets face it, a 10 month old little girl is missing. Keeping information from LE would be horrible. I really hope that this is not taking place.

..were lisa's parents there? did they say anything?

How old are the boys? I've forgotten. Seems like for each new bit of info I learn, three other facts leave my head.

Wow! Local ABC news here in KC just said they had heard that the last cell ping of one of the missing phones was near to the house. This is the first news of any sort about pings. I continue to wonder if they thought the phones were in that dumpster they were searching the landfill for.

Absolutely... or tossed down the flood grates, hence looking down the manholes. To me this could still easily be an intruder who grabbed then pitched them.

^^^^^

All of the above. Close to the house somewhere. I think it's even possible the phones were *in* the house until shortly before LE was told they were stolen. JMHO

LE has not said he was cleared, however they did not ask him to take a LDT, so the assumption was he had been verified to be at work.

BBM. Unless there is a new law, used to be in Missouri that LE can interview any potential witness without needing parental permission.

I think Deborah's son is 6 and Jeremy's son is 8, but it sounds like the older boy may have just turned 8 the other day.

I notice he's holding up for himself and seems distant from mom in his answer.I do think they are homing in on her.The question is

what does she know? I don't believe she intentionally hurt Lisa.I do think she knows more than shes telling them.

In Missouri, you owe on Dec 31st, for what you owned on Jan 1. So, 2011 taxes are due in 2 months. 2010 taxes were not due until Dec 2010. I can barely believe they have already tried to come after them for that!! I have seen sooo many people much farther behind than that!

It could have been for another property. I'm in FL and that happens.. it will follow you. And i remember reading on here from a verified neighbor they have only been in this house about a year. Would make sense.

I am going by what I just watched on our local news... they showed several people with stacks of fliers, and they interviewed one that was related somehow (I missed exactly how) and she was talking about all of them trying to get fliers distributed.

LE must have picked up something while they were at the house or from the beginning to question her like that, never the less they always look at the family first.A person that has nothing to worry about does not stress out like that, unless they know it is hitting close to home.I know LE can be tough in their line of investigation. If you have did nothing wrong, why turn your back on the people that can help you the most. The media can't get warrants.LE is looking out for Lisa and that's their job.

Well, your probably right . But the stress of having a child go missing must be great.
