Found Deceased MO - Nicole Shalee Mallatt, 36, Butler, Bates County, 26 Nov 2019 *endangered*

Authorities in west-central Missouri have issued an endangered person advisory for a 36-year-old woman who has been missing for over a week.

Nicole Shalee Mallatt was last seen around 7:40 p.m. Nov. 26, according to a statement from the Bates County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office said it had received the missing persons report on Nov. 29 and began investigating.

Mallatt's belongings, including her phone, backpack and shoes, were found Thursday within 100 yards of her Bates County home, about 70 miles south of Kansas City.

In addition to finding some of Mallatt's belongings, the sheriff's office said it also served a warrant to search her home and that the residence has been processed by the Kansas City Police Department Crime Lab.

The Southwest Missouri Major Case Squad convened to help with the search, which centered around a 220-acre property she lives on with her longtime boyfriend, the sheriff's office added. It has since expanded the search to include surrounding farms.

On Thursday during a news conference, Bates County Sheriff Chad Anderson indicated there have been no signs of foul play at this time in the investigation.

Anderson also relayed a message to Mallatt, who is a mother of three children.

"If you have just decided that you are done and you want to start a new life and left on your own free will, I have one question and a favor to ask: That you go to your nearest law enforcement agency, identify yourself, let them confirm you're who you are and we can give your family some answers," Anderson said.

"To Nicole's family and friends, we will not rest until we have answers for you."

Mallatt is described as a white female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, around 120 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. The endangered person advisory issued Friday stated that Mallatt has "suicidal ideations."

On Friday, the sheriff's office said that any information regarding its need for volunteers would be posted on Facebook.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bates County Sheriff's Office at 660-679-3232.

Now they’ve added “suicidal ideation” I wonder who told LE that she was struggling with thoughts of suicide? Hmmm

I was in Butler and Harrisonville which is north of Butler and Nicoles missing posters are all over the place. I am sure they are posted in other areas as well.

It's been in the news revealed by family that she had been beaten and abused by the boyfriend.
My guess is him... said to police as "... she said she'd rather die than be with me..."

Yes.
In his presser, the Sheriff wouldn't confirm or deny. After all, it may not be what happened to her.

But according to her family... in the video at link, brother Mark Willy said "Beatings, multiple beatings; physical beatings, mental abuse".
Aunt Linda Diveley said "He beat her so bad her eye socket went out of place, and he almost killed her"

This is a photo capture from the video, added to my Case Archive.
12/5/19 Nicoles family tells of physical abuse, mental abuse, beatings so bad that her boyfriend dislocated her eye socket.

If he’s not in custody I hope they’re watching his every move. I’m heartsick over this.
HALF her life was given to this man, I can’t imagine what it was like and all that she’s gone through. I don’t think she’s alive either, and I’ll be waiting patiently for justice.

I really do not know what to think. I don't think she would have abandoned her children to go in hiding. jmo

Speculating because there is no info to be found...
Nicole has been with BS the boyfriend/fiance for the last 18 years, and they have 3 children together (from what is reported). Nicole has 4 children.
The last day she is known to be alive, she had been picked up and dropped off by her ex-husband.

Possibly a lot of jealousy led to whatever has happened to Nicole. One of the men in her life? Idk what to think, but maybe there was a conflict?

I don't see a random kidnapping on a rural road. Possible, yes. Probable, no. Her Mom thinks she has been murdered/s deceased.

So is the ex-husband from before the boyfriend she has now? As in over 18 years ago?

MO court records show a divorce in 2017, a paternity case in 2007 with I’m guessing the same BS who was previously mentioned, and 2 separate administrative orders in 2005 and 2012 (which could very well be protection orders) each case with a different individual. Her family says the boyfriend abused her, and I suspect she has a history with abusive men.

I think that usually when a case is quiet like this, LE has a pretty good idea about what happened and who, and are just looking or waiting for more conclusive evidence. The outcome probably won’t be good.

Thinking of Nicole as she is still missing. I am sure her children are missing their mother as is the rest of of her family.
