Just reading through twitterland today. Apparently, the new defense of VM is based upon the cop not being in uniform, but rumored to be in a security guard uniform, And if 3 teens run away from his he should ignore it, thats not against the law. So no matter that the kid was illegally armed while out on bond, and fired on the cop, ---its the cops fault for following them.

The funny/sad part is, if the 3 teens had just calmly walked past, eaten their sandwiches, this whole thing could have been avoided.

These folks fail to see that the kids should have taken responsibility for actions. Uniform or not that LEO had a right to defend himself and shoot.

Why does anyone need to know how to rush a police station, anyway? Are they planning a coup d'etat?

If they accomplished a coup d'etat, it would be like my dog Amy and the rabbit. Every night at dusk a bunny would come out to graze and Amy would chase it. Night after night after night this went on until the rabbit stopped, turned, and just stared at Amy. Amy plopped down on the ground. She had no idea what to do once the rabbit changed the game.

These protesters "love" the game but would have no clue if they "won" the things they think they want. That's been made obvious each time someone has been hurt, they've been robbed, etc. They need law enforcement (and laws!) just like everyone else. They are running on raw emotion and energy and nothing else. They've not looked beyond the next night of fun in the streets. (See little cow below).

The QuikTrip was chosen in part because of the role a QT gas station in Ferguson played in the aftermath of the Brown shooting. It was burned down on the first day of protests and then became an impromptu town square and meeting place for protesters until the owners erected a fence around the lot.
In a nod to their lost meeting place in Ferguson, organizers decided to “occupy” another QuikTrip early Sunday.

Does this make any sense to anyone?

But, wasn't there a shooting late that afternoon in which the Senator felt she was being shot at. Wasn't the report a couple of men shot and killed a man and another was wounded? The killers still had not been found at that time VM was shot. If the officer felt the young men were acting suspiciously and one looked as if he were holding a gun in his pants why wouldn't the officer stop them? It is what they are suppose to do. LE doesn't sit in a donut shop just waiting for criminals to give themselves up.

In order to stop the high crime in this area they have to stop people who they feel resembles the person who is still at large. It's what they are trained to do and body language plays a big part he who they go after. Maybe they ran because they thought the officer saw the leg monitor. In any case, one has to wonder why he still had a gun. Who allowed him to live in the household knowing he had one because he would be alive today if he had someone taken it away from him. jmo

And they were so outraged last night, that the cops would come and ask them to leave private property. They burned down a QT in Ferguson, but it is somehow outrageous for the cops not to trust them as they try to 'take over' another QT in Shaw.

Also, the workers inside must have been very frightened to see a mob of angry protestors chanting "FIGHT BACK, Fok The Police," as they surrounded the market. They surely called 911 for help.

But to hear the marchers last night, the cops were monsters and terrorists, for coming to the stores aid. It is somehow a 'police state' when the cops come when called by frightened workers that are surrounded by 150 angry protestors.

Also, the livestreamers are calling the cops liars and saying there are no images of rocks or bottles being thrown on the numerous streams. HOWEVER, there have been countless times that Bella or RebZ have suddenly cut the stream right when something questionable is happening. I have seen it happen quite a bit.

When that bearcat thing drove past REbZ in the street in Shaw, and the guys with him yell ast it as it goes by, and we see one guy kneel down, then CUT camera... [ at the time I wondered if he was picking up a rock]

Also, we saw tweets from that female crime reporter, that she had just sent a tweet out about seeing a guy smashing a brick. And suddenly someone asked her waht she was tweeting and put her in a headlock and tried to steal her cell. She tweeted about it and said she still has her cell but didnt get a pic of the guy.

So it is disingenuous for the streamers to totally deny any rock throwing or bad behavior.

I wonder exactly how many rounds you're allowed to fire at someone who started shooting at you first.

If the other guy fires 3 times, you're only allowed to fire 3 times? Then you have to wait until he fires again before you're permitted to fire a 4th round? What about accuracy? What if all 3 of his shots miss? Are you allowed to fire more accurately and actually hit him? Or are you required to miss all 3 shots as well?

What if you lose count? :dunno:

What would of happened if the clerk had a heart attack and died last night? Would of the ones they had in custody been held for manslaughter? Would ant of the protesters even cared?

Clear and present danger were the gas pumps. Too many people for a manger to control around a deadly substance. Poor, poor choice for those protestors.

BBM

And the officers surrounded the pumps to make sure no one could tamper with them and cause a fire. The protestors tweeted that the cops cared more about protecting gas than the people, because they are capitalist pigs. I tweeted back that they were protecting the protestors by surrounding the gas tanks. But they were not believing me. lol

Or if Vonderrik had obeyed the terms of his house arrest, he wouldn't have even been on that street.

Don't you have to wonder why they would pick a gas station? While it's open to the public it is still private property so they knew they were not suppose to be there. Their leaders knew that. So what are police suppose to think? They will assume the worst that someone (who may have another agenda) will take the opportunity to cause a lot of casualties. The police did what they had to do. jmo

I was reading something today...tried looking in my thru my history but just too much in there. It spoke about the attraction of these sorts of things (Ferguson) to arsonists. It mentioned how LE already knows they have one arsonist working in the area and how they have information of another one because of the October Ferguson happenings. The talk above of the QT make me think again about that. I know Chief Dotson alerted QT's in the area to be alert for potential protesters and civil unrest.

"The people of St. Louis are going to the greatest lengths to achieve justice and are being met with cowardice, hostility, and outright lies from the very institutions who do anything but serve and protect. This movement will continue to grow until we see justice instead of violent police in the streets of St. Louis.”

Who wrote this bs? sheeeeeeze
