I wonder what she purchased at Whole Foods and if those items are still in the car or if she made it back home first or went on other errands afterwards that there is evidence of in the car (receipts, other bags, etc)

Car actually found first by park ranger the same day she was seen at Whole Foods, so it seems by this statement.

Captain James E. Wilt, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, requests the public’s assistance with locating a missing person. On November 12, 2018, a state park ranger located Raffaella Maria Stroik’s vehicle unattended in rural Monroe County at the Mark Twain Lake State Park Highway 107 boat ramp parking lot. A computer check revealed no missing person report had been filed for Stroik. At approximately 8:50 a.m. on November 13, 2018, a Missouri state trooper checked the area and found the vehicle remained in the parking lot unattended.

Police seek public’s help to find missing St. Louis ballerina
Monday afternoon, a park ranger found Stroik's car unattended in a boat ramp parking lot at Mark Twain Lake State Park. At the time, the ranger did not find a missing person report for Stroik so no further action was taken.

Around 8:50 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 13), a state trooper saw Stroik's car was still in the parking lot. The car was locked, and her personal belongings, including a cell phone, were found inside the vehicle.

"Her keys were found laying outside the vehicle," said [Sgt. Eric] Brown. "They appeared to have been intentionally placed in a certain spot on the vehicle."

Representatives from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Missouri Department of Conservation, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Monroe City Fire Department, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Monroe City Ambulance District conducted a ground search of the area Tuesday. A helicopter flew over the area, and crews searched the water as well.

thanks this clears up something that was very confusing in the article i read. They saw the car then saw it again in the same spot 24 hours later. which is what set the alarm off.

oh no I hate to say it, but this doesn't sound good at all. Unless she was known to frequent this state park for recreation (or at least ones like it) maybe she went for an over night camp out idk, but hasn't the weather been bad. This really doesn't sound good. As someone pointed that's quite far out of the city if there is foul play (unfortunately I think that is highly likely) the suspect will probably have some familiarity with that area.

I wonder if whole foods has cameras in the parking lot they seem to almost always be in bougie areas? I wonder if her atm cards been used?

If it weren't for the visit to Whole Foods I would have thought self-harm, but why go shopping if you are going to do that? A carjacker wouldn't have left the keys like that. She seems to be a very talented and focused young woman, this is just so strange.

I believe this location is also over 100 miles from that Whole Foods store... and very rural it seems so if she was abducted there must have been someone else in another car, otherwise how did they leave the location. If she was murdered and deceased, I wonder if there was someone waiting for her in the car while she was shopping. I would love to know what she bought. Perhaps planning a picnic? What was the weather like at the park on Monday? Also, I wonder if the police have gotten into her phone yet. She is a very devout Catholic girl. Perhaps rejected advances and the perp called in a buddy to pick him up at the park after things went downhill. I really wonder if they found evidence someone else had been in the car with her. I would start questioning the dancers (both male and female) in her ballet company. If not a romantic tryst than perhaps a "friendly" one, the ballet world is very competitive and she is very talented and very beautiful...MOO just thinking out loud so to speak.
