Was it ever established where her keys were found with the car? I wonder if it was a place she was known to place her keys?

Live links to the new conference?

Then this person abducted her and drove her car over 100 miles away, left it near a lake, locked the car, left the phone inside and the keys next to the car? This doesn't make sense to me. If she was still alive and this was just a place to dump the car.. why lock the car and leave the phone in it? Why not just chuck both into the lake? And once you dump the car how do you get out of there?
maybe to make it look like she was out there somewhere ? Dumb criminals (lord knows how many of them are running around)

Edit i obviously had not read through to the end when i posted this RIP

ya you should get rid of the phone the second the crime starts. If there was a crime.

after reading some of @tokyorose post I think self harm might be a realistic possibility here

Me either and it does look that way RIP .

She swam. Remember she is an athlete.

I have no doubt she could have swam out there and have the utmost respect for dancers as athletes, I apologize if it seemed otherwise. It just seems like a really weird and possibly painful way to go. I trust that if LE says foul play not involve that this is a suicide. I guess in my mind i would think if i made the decision to go out like that and was beyond the point of no return I would want something Quick, painless, and that was a sure thing. Then again I guess if you are at the point of killing yourself you are likely not making rational reasoned decisions. I know very little about suicide so that is probably why i was surprised.

There is a lot of pressure on dancers to remain thin. Some will try to lose weight with extreme dieting and exercise. Is it possible that she passed out or had a medical emergency while walking around the edge of the lake?

Have no reason to say this other than I find it odd that she drove two hours to the park alone.

I live about 10 miles from where her vehicle was found. I can tell you that on Monday it was snowing, sleeting, freezing cold and the wind was blowing so she most certainly wasn't going there to hike, sight see or picnic. Whatever happened to her was intentional either on her part or someone elses part. This boat ramp is not easy to find and is not off of a "major" highway. In fact is is off of a 2 lane highway, then a blacktop road that then leads to another road that leads to the boat ramp. It is a boat ramp only....no boats are docked here. Someone would need to know where it is located to find it. I live about 10 miles from there and would have to ask my husband how to get there and I have lived here for 26 years. She was closer to/likely drove past a different boat ramp and the damn of the lake where she could have entered the water. I know they are saying no foul play is suspected at this point but I don't believe that for a minute.....oh, and to whoever suggested an abductor may have called a taxi or uber.......ummmm, NO!!!! LOL Sorry but those things don't exist for at least 30 miles from the location of her vehicle.

Was it snowing all day? Could the weather have changed while she was there? She might have been unprepared, for a weather change, if she did drive herself there.

Raffaella Stroik Dead: Body Missouri Ballet Dancer Found | Heavy.com

She was not just raised Catholic, she was in a young adult group for Catholics.

There is a possibility that she just slipped or had a medical incident while walking or hiking around the lake.

Is anyone here familiar enough with the lake to understand how easy it would be to slip/fall in? I would find it unlikely, however, that she couldn't swim. It's such a stretch of the imagination for me to think of how one would do so, and not just simply get back out, barring a long drop into the lake, etc.

I remember that it was barely spitting snow in the morning on my way to work and it snowed most of the day but it was blowing all day so it didn't really accumulate and if it did it was not noticeable because we already had an inch or 2 of snow on the ground still from last week. It may have stopped snowing for a very short while but I know for a fact that at 3 pm when I was getting off work it was a white out....couldn't see anything at all. Lots of accidents and run offs in the ditch and at least one accident resulting in a fatality. It was just a pretty yucky day all around.

It was a cold day and snowing and blowing most of the day....she certainly wouldn't have been out there that day taking a causal stroll that is for sure. But if she were it is boat ramp only (no docks) so failing in is unlikely. I suppose if she were walking on the ramp there could have been ice and she could have slipped and fallen in.....but it was really, really cold and wind blowing.....walking around the lake would have been even colder than here in town where I live. It certainly isn't someplace that I would CHOOSE to be at in those conditions unless I had alternative motives or someone took me there to do something bad.
