IMO Somebody lured them outside. Who?
Fake cops pulling over Suzie and Stacy on there way to the house? Sherrill coming out was maybe a surprise to the abductor/s. I think the makeup and clothes could have come from earlier.

What if they were at George's? I think Sherrill would leave to help her daughter. Why would all three go if they were being lured somewhere? What would make them go? I'm asking not being smart. Lured out of the house or lured to another location?
George’s. I’ve also always felt like their could be some validity to the guys talking to them there. Maybe they called Sherrill and she came running and they went missing from George’s, not home. MOO

Possible. Lured outside by a pop! (busted light casing) that got the attention of all three. The blind in Suzies bedroom that faced the front of house was pulled down next day.

Ahhhhh, yes. Never thought of the extra clothing. Makes sense. Could Suzie have said she didn’t feel well bc she was bothered by someone and Stacy went with to be sure she was good? Could they have come home to change clothes/freshen makeup? Could they have left with a person(s) then Sherrill was lured out by a phone call for help? So many possibilities. MOO

There are a crazy amount of things that could have happened. I thought Suzy was complaining of being sick to avoid letting Stacy bring someone back to her house or to keep them around people. She might have had a bad feeling that wasn't something based on anything threatening just a feeling. I feel sick could be like "come to the bathroom with me" "That guy is weird". They could have gone out from Suzie's and something happened that got sherrill to look for them.

Did they knowhow the blinds looked before? If they were bent that could have been her checking for a ride or looking outside. moo

I think people noticed guys lurking at the Elder party. I can't remember if they were talking Stacy and Suzie.

True. Or looking out to see who was there that night.

The blinds could be a red herring. Or maybe a clue. What about the purses? Okay, my WS is slowwwwww server is off.

Can the party goers please stand up!! Please. Lol

I wish cops would go over that night and make sure people didn't try covering for friends that are missing 27 years later. I wonder if Janelle didn't approve of Stacy's choice in guys. Her actions that morning might have been of someone that was concerned. It seemed like something happened where Suzie and Stacy were together and Janelle was with other people and they could have been in a disagreement. Maybe she didn't do anything wrong that night. idk

Sadly pregnant women get killed more often than not pregnant women.

Is this true? Seems unlikely to me but i have no idea.

Sorry for butting in with something off-topic i was just lurking this thread as it's interesting but i don't really know enough to join in.

I was always struck by the comments she made. Somethings off but maybe something as innocent as jealousy over that night. MOO

If the blinds came with the house or if you are like me - your blinds are screwed lol. The purses are weird on so many levels. Someone possible returned them. I don't think Sherrill would leave a purse by the door on graduation night with people possible coming in and out. It's possible that stuff was found and gone through when people were trying to find phone numbers or make sure they were purses the women were using. If you are going to a water park or switching clothes you might switch purses or bags. I'm randomly thinking.
Some guys are weird about going through a woman's purse. If the abductor/s returned a car or cars maybe they left the purses there in some weird sign of respect. moo

Or guilt. Maybe anger that Suzie let her go to her house knowing she was seeing a bad guy. moo
If you got into a fight maybe you were worried about your friend and they don't like your advice. You assume you'll make up later. Not that they will disappear. Blaming Suzie might have been a way to cope. moo

Welcome I have to find the statistics but it's that pregnant women are more likely to experience violence or a higher percentage of pregnant women do.

When Pregnancy Triggers Violence
I might have stated it wrong but women that are pregnant have surprisingly high chances of experiencing violence. It seems to be mostly from domestic partners.

Do you have any thoughts on this case?

Interesting, i'd be interested in seeing that. I wonder if they were including individual women who experienced violence both while pregnant and not under both. I quickly googled it and found a link saying between 3.8 and 8.8% of pregnant women reported intimate partner violence and between 15 and 71% of non pregnant women have reported intimate partner violence. But i'm not sure how in depth it is and of course it's focusing on something specific with "intimate partner violence".

Personally i doubt more pregnant women are killed than not simply because women are more often pregnant than not and some never get pregnant, but maybe a higher rate are which may have been what you were saying and i misinterpreted you.

Wish i had something to offer but no i haven't read much about it only really some of this thread and an article. I'll try and find time in the next few days to read the various links and get an idea of what went on and who everyone is then join the thread, it's definitely a fascinating and tragic case.
