I did not turn her in to LE. I tried to turn her in through a friend on my facebook to Todd Matthews.I never heard anything back. So I just left it alone.I thought someone would turn her in to have her checked.
Have you turned her in?

Sent an email to NamUs. Submitted Telethia Good and asked how Sharaun Cole was ruled out because DNA is processing still.

I got a hold of Todd Matthews again and he said his people are looking into it for Telethia Good.

According to an old magazine article I found, Kelly's father's name is Fred Staples. I may have found his address and wife's name as well. If the authorities contacted them, they could probably get a DNA sample.

They all have DNA; so hard to say.
With Sherise; I do not think she is dark enough.

I wish I remember where I found photos; but I do not. I uploaded them to an album that are only available to people on my contact list. If you can't see them let me know. I just went through & hope I got the main people following her post

I did not realize they upload in reverse order; the last pic was supposed to be the 1st pic; with 1st being last :(
WARNING - POST MORTEM PHOTOS - They are VERY disturbing.. LINK

Private album - Only visible to contacts and moderators
I could not access the album, thanks.

I tried looking at your album but it tells me that the link is broken. I think it might have something to do with the site upgrade. But when you get a chance, after it gets fixed, can you let me know? TIA
Me too.

I deleted the album

Sorry, I'm so far behind. Thanks for taking care of it

No problem at all! We're all in this together. :)

Ok, the response about Kelly was that they are very interested in comparing Kelly to this uid, but are having a hard time obtaining the biometrics.

I just saw this article from a few days ago about detectives in Alameda County using DNA technology to create a probable face for a UID whose skull was never found (http://www.ktvu.com/news/182380215-story). Does anyone know about this? Is this the first time it's been done? Do we know exactly how accurate this method is? Could it be done for this Jane Doe?

I saw it with another case last year but do not recall which one. I did a google image search for it, here are the results

Kelly Staples is not in the ruled out list. Has she been checked?

https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/2893/2

I turned in Kelly Staples to namus and told them where to find the address for her father.

Ebony - Feb 1986 - Page 139 - Google Books Result - THE face of six-year-old Kelly Juani- ta Staples stares vacantly out over the crowded Chicago ... Like thousands of America's children, Kelly is a missing child.

I'm not seeing that Kelly has her own thread except the one below which is closed. We really need to find family and get the DNa SAMPLE
Missing Children in America - A Profile - IL Kelly Juanita Staples (6) - Chicago IL, 1980

From research I've done, that area was blighted at that time, with abandoned buildings. Somewhere up thread, locals have posted that the area was kind of a dividing line between a "good" area & a "not so good" area. I find this interesting:

"DNA testing confirmed the profile St. Louis experts already had, but the mineral tests, or stable isotope analysis, revealed the child probably spent most of, if not all of, her life in one of 10 southeastern states: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee and the Carolinas."

Snipped. Full article: http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/...cle_36de5a5c-b615-5292-b5aa-abb99a888a6c.html

I've thought for a long time that somehow that little girl made it to STL shortly before her death. LE was pretty thorough investigating in and around the STL area. My theory is that this little girl' parent(s) died and she was awarded to her next of kin (bio dad, older brother, uncle, etc) and that person is the perp. Nobody from her home area would know she was missing and nobody in STL would realize she was there to miss her.

Thoughts?

At some point the Smithsonian redid her isotope testing to get different states, I haven't had a chance to look for an article but it's on her Doe net page. They did the same thing to another Jane Doe I follow. I am clueless how it goes from South to North.

Full Anthropology exam and isotope analysis completed by NCMEC and the Smithsonian. Advanced forensic testing of her bones has also suggested that the female was not originally from the local St. Louis area but possibly spent most of her childhood in the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, and West Virginia.

Do you think a trucker could be responsible for her murder? An American Robert Black?
