Right after she makes the text at 4:42 "OMG, just pulled over again" , her friend asks "why"? ..........No answer.

Whatever happened, happened right then.

Also, the friends earlier text indicates "Read" but the text that says "whyy" does not have a read receipt underneath. You can see the "Read" clearly in the better picture of the screenshot of the text messages, linked here http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...as-City-15-Jan-2017-1&p=13086886#post13086886

ETA: The "whyy" text was sent at 9:19AM. Toni's phone battery allegedly died at 9:30PM. [Edited to correct time, thank you!]

i'm glad you brought that up. i had'nt noticed until just now, that the police are stating the pullover was near 20thave and hw-9. but i remember when watching the cctv from i believe quiktrip, you can see the pullover finishing, officer turns off lights, and she pulls in.this is near 26thave and hw-9. (6 blocks farther north then whats stated)

I really think she fake pumped gas using a debit card she knew would not work to "prove" to the cop that she just needed gas. I honestly do not think she did and was trying to meet up for drugs.

I am almost positive it's 9:30pm that her phone goes dead, at least that's what the first post on this 2nd thread states.

Has that time changed? asking because that's happened before :)

i dont know, but maybe skibs could add any 24 hour gas stations that are along that route to the case map

That may not give any truly accurate information, due to the weather that night in the area many stations that would normally have been open all night may have closed due to lack of customers out on the roads. By the time the traffic had cleared from the Chiefs NFL playoff game earlier that evening, there was very little traffic on the roads after midnight. In fact, that problem may have occurred---which would have led her off her normal route where stations would usually be open in search of one that actually was open.

Oh, Okay. I couldn't read the time-stamp on the picture posted up there, too blurry.

I really don't know what to think at this point. I think this girl was out running around at 5 in the morning, and she seemed to be on a mission of some kind that really had nothing to do with getting gasoline or going home. Is there any way that LE can pull her phone records to see who was communicating with her an hour or two beforehand ? I don't even know if that is possible or not when it comes to text messages, but I assume it is simply one phone talking to another one, so it should be trackable I would think.

I just can't get behind the disappearing on her own scenario. Her parents have stated that they were in contact nearly every day. If something was going on, I don't see her leaving without at least letting her parents know she was okay.

Police need to look at who the last 4:53 phone call came from and whether or not she answered. Apparently this was a male who is "cooperating". Most likely it was the person she was going to meet for drugs or someone she owed money wondering where the heck she was.

RE: the KCCrimefighter. He posted TONS of gossip when there was the accident at Schlitterbahn and most all didn't end up being true. I think he just throws stuff at the wall and sees what sticks.

Her phone "died" Sunday evening at 9:30pm.

All we can deduct from the texting is that whatever happened, happened before 9:19 Sunday morning as she never read that reply from her friend.

Only ones that know if Toni factually got pulled over twice that night are KCPD, and they could simply prove it was only once.

I know this misty creed case got pulled because there is no MSM report or police report, but from what I can tell her address has her living 2 blocks from the QT that Toni was last seen.

:/

7 days later someone in the immediate area she went missing goes missing. If it's true, I'm finding it hard to see as coincidence.

Gofundme went up quick for her as well, so maybe a "me too" type thing.

Misty has close family from Wichita KS. so... connection there too.

Looking for police reports now for misty, maybe MSM just hasn't caught it yet.

OR she faked needing gas because she had drugs in the car and needed the focus to be on something else.

She definitely did drugs. It's been confirmed many times on her own social media accounts. Marijuana and LSD.

Not sure how this relates, but I believe the officer was said to have followed her to the gas station after he pulled her over. Could he have pulled her over near 20th Ave. and Hwy 9, but then followed her to the station, thus why he was visible 6 blocks later?

Not sure what to think about the scanner audio being pulled from 4:30-10:30 am. :/

They wouldn't have even known that she was missing until afternoon of 1/15. So why take all the way till 10:30am out?

hmmm. Sorry, i'm even more skeptical about what happened in that time period now.

Max, are you saying the police took the scanner recordings offline? If so, can you tell me if there is precedent for this? Is it normal?

i dont know, but maybe your right. my hubby has worked for amoco/bp most of his life, and said they never once closed because of weather or lack of customers. only power outages

I'm starting to think the theory about the automotive shop nearby being part of this mystery may hold some weight. Someone with a pretty good knowledge of vehicles would know about the speed sensor and how to disable it in a hurry. If she had taken her car there to get it worked on in the past, the mechanic would certainly know that it was rigged up that way. Like I stated this morning, simply taking the battery cable off the positive terminal would kill all the electronics in the vehicle, and it would also allow someone time to completely disable or disconnect the speed sensor. After which, the battery cable could be reconnected and the car driven anywhere in the world without worrying about the tracking software.

I hope they are pursuing that possibility, because it does seem to make a lot of pieces of the puzzle fit together a lot better. Also, what better place to hide a vehicle than in an enclosed building , even if for just a few hours ? It was a Sunday, shop would have been closed.

There was a case about a year or two ago that had similar details: Girl works at an auto repair shop, showed up after a high school graduation around 9 p.m., vanishes. Her car was found parked at the shop the next morning. It was later discovered that she had been killed at the shop, and then taken and buried on private property. There were three different men being held for it. To this day, the exact motive is unclear as to what triggered it. Her name was Leah Martin. case here: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...-29-May-2015-*Arrests*&highlight=graham+texas

Her boyfriend is allegedly a dealer. So why would she be running all over town looking to score? Does not make sense.
