"While not ruling out foul play, Kansas City police think that around 6 a.m. Jan. 15, Toni Anderson likely wrecked her black 2014 Ford Focus on some rural, desolate roadway."

I'm going to assume that her phone disconnected around that time. Why else would they pick 6 AM? This also contradicts what we were previously told, that it worked until 9 PM. In fact, this matches the time given on the group, but on a different day. Strange. (Rumor in the group was 6 AM Monday)

One piece of info we still need: where was the last ping? If I were the family, I would want that last ping and I would search that area. Wouldn't anybody?

I do not agree with their assessment about this being a wreck.

We can see now why the boyfriend is ruled out. And this eliminates that whole J story from consideration also. Really, the only possibility of foul play at this point is a car jacking.

However, she pulled the tracking device. Huge clue right there. She then drove out into the sticks. This has to be voluntary. She didn't just happen to crash after pulling her tracking device and driving out into the sticks. This was a deliberate act.

I disagree with you on the voluntary thing. I think she crashed somewhere between NKC and Parkville. I haven't seen enough to make me believe she ran away on her own.

And how does this eliminate the J story from consideration? The ping information? I think that makes sense if he was supposed to meet her further south and the pings occurred in Parkville.

Also - What do you mean by 'sticks'. I don't understand that. Running over sticks shouldn't cause anything significant.

It's slang in the US for driving out into the country where there's not many people. Like the wilderness or whatever.

I don't agree with wreck scenario either. I also don't think she disappeared on her own. That whole article made me even more confused. Why now just release this info or confirm times? Odd...

Perhaps it came from the icloud data.

I don't understand how anyone can question the tracking device story. That came from the police. And there's no way it just happened to stop working at that QuikTrip.

I have to say, I'm just stunned. I can barely believe I'm reading this:

"While not ruling out foul play, Kansas City police think that around 6 a.m. Jan. 15, Toni Anderson likely wrecked her black 2014 Ford Focus on some rural, desolate roadway."

It's just unbelievable that they waited 47 days to tell us this. AND WHAT ABOUT THE LAST PING LOCATION!!!!!!?

smh

The dirty cop theory is off the table, by the way, because she was at the QuikTrip for 7 minutes after she sent the text. Just forget the whole bad cop thing. Let it go. It never happened.

"For some reason, Anderson remained at QuikTrip until 4:49 a.m. and then drove north to parts unknown, Caldwell said."

The good news is that Spring is coming, which means farmers are going to be out and about on their land. If she did drive into the country and ended up in a pond in the middle of a field like what happens so often around here, she will be found soon.

I don't know that LE really knows that much. It's possible that they haven't had this information all that long and a fairly recent development. Maybe they've been sorting through and following up on information and tips that haven't really lead to anything substantial at all.

It is ridiculous that those initial searches have not been expanded to include other areas where a wreak could have occurred. Other routes that Toni could have possibly been on should be searched if they haven't been doing it.

Also, I've been wondering if it's possible that that insurance tracking device might not have been unplugged but rather she might have bumped it where it wasn't making a connection and it simply wasn't functioning because of something that happened unintentionally.

I think the headline of that article should be:

After 47 Days Police Finally Reveal Toni Anderson Left Town.

I guess they wanted the iCloud data first. That must be it. And we can now assume they got nothing from the iPhone backup.

So there you go... "News that Toni Anderson worked as a server at a strip club was a surprise but not a total disappointment to her parents."

And they still believe that ? Shocking ! May be they just choose to see what they want to see

I'm sure police had this info early on and were withholding it "to protect the integrity of the investigation," as they are so fond of saying. They were likely hoping the iCloud data would reveal some clues as to why she went north. Perhaps some correspondence with somebody in that direction. They could have still been thinking along the lines that she could have went to meet someone far away and that person is holding her against her will or some other foul play. Now that they have nothing, they are releasing the info. This likely means that the case has gone cold, more or less.

In my opinion, of course.

If she was on a drive out in the middle of nowhere and went towards Lexington, I know for a fact that there are roads that go right along the river and could easily be driven into with nothing stopping you. In fact, in an area in Lexington, there's a school bus sticking out of the Missouri where someone drove it in there. It's a mystery as to how it got there. I've been trying to find any websites that talk about it and no one has posted anything...

That last timeline I posted said the last ping from her phone was at 5:56 a.m. on the 15th. Wonder why they think she kept traveling after the last ping? Also guess they couldn't track the ping well enough to know just where she was when it pinged. They say traveling the 9 corridor between KC and Parkville. Over the past weeks a few times it was said she sent that text about being pulled over from the QT. LE must have given that info out. It may have been Lisa Cordova who said that and she talked with Pete Jr all the time. I just can't remember where I read it.
Why was she out driving all over the place on an icy morning? Why wouldn't someone know where she was going? No cell phone records or anything showing LE where she was going, how strange. Sounds like it would have had to be someone at the club that eve.

So we've not found out enough to even make an intelligent decision on what has happened to Toni. A wreck, she ran away or foul play took place, good grief.

The new timeline is just a bunch of assertions that are contradicted by earlier and better evidence. Many folks are trying so hard to relieve cops from suspicion. The stop lasted 3 minutes, not 7 and the best source says it was at 420. That fits well with when she left Chrome. These simple facts now put Toni on the QT property for 24 minutes.

It's now looking like original 440 stop time was correct after all. They couldn't be that for off in reality. The cops can't prove any of this new fiction without releasing all footage with proper dates and times. The car accident myth is strong evidence of a cover-up.

[FONT=&quot]She left the gas station about 4:40 a.m., police said. She then texted her friend to tell her about being stopped by police.

So she went north at 4:49 and went silent at around 6 AM. That gives 1:11 travel time. Looking at a map, nothing jumps out. Smithville Lake, which I have been looking upon with suspicion, is to the north, but it is only about 30 minutes.

And 6 AM could have been when she simply turned off her iPhone. She could have kept on driving.

She wasn't travelling the 9 corridor from NKC to Parkville for over an hour, though. It's only 13 minutes.

Wonder why LE didn't say she just left on her own? That's the usual reason for a person being missing and that's what I understood they had told the Anderson's early on, that she had left the area. I'm not sure if they said on her own. LE is saying a car wreck, after LE has investigated must be they didn't find any evidence to make them think she just took off. From the way they've described that morning, it does sound like she just left on her own.
Why would Toni be on some desolate road?

Sounds like she met with someone and foul play took place, that really does make the most sense given this new information.

She would've been in Parkville before 510. I bet she wasn't. You said his text at 453 went unread. How likely is that if she was unharmed at that point?

We usually side eye the person whose story keeps changing. Whose story changed concerning Toni?
