Fair enough with the early morning time. You guys are right, shadiness has no curfew.

"I was asleep at the time um..she was, she was getting off work it was just like any other night, you know, i just thought she'd come home. She had left work at 4 at 4:11 and she was adamant about going to a gas station."
A few questions before i add my thoughts.
Is he answering a question(s)?
Is he speaking, using his own words, Free editing stage, and not entering, or using the language of another? (parroting back)
For example
Were you asleep at the time she went missing/left work?
"I was asleep at the time um.."
This is entering the language of the interviewer, and not choosing his own words. Deceptive people of answer this way because it's easier, they don't have to think on their feet, thus aleviating the stress lying cause's.
"I was asleep at the time um.."
So if these are his own words, we should note the order in which he speaks. Order often shows priority, and his priority is to tell us he "was asleep" Unless he was asked, why does he have to tell this needless information, that is, if he is alibi building.
Along with this keeps, (for me) the BF the top of my list.
Sanchez says others are questioning whether her working as a server at an adult night club played a role in her disappearance.
Bottom line. It's a person,it's someones daughter. It's my girlfriend . I just want to find out what happened . i want a conclusion to everything.
This is not expected, he reduces her to an "it". He uses the possessive pronoun "my" which is good., but prefixes with "it's". This extreme distancing language something we don't expect a BF to say.
Better still would be to use the pronoun "she". Even better would be to use her name.
The question is why is he distancing himself from her.
Were they involved in shady dealings and it went pear shaped.? Or is it more nefarious?

Chrome is a non-nude club. It is a "bikini bar." Missouri law. So I would agree she wasn't stripping. At that club, anyway. They likely haven't heard about the other club...
Yeah, it's difficult for me to imagine, but Kansas City is obviously quite different from what I'm used to, and also things have changed quite a bit since the days I used to go clubbing, I guess.
I still don't consider her going on a date at 5 AM to be a viable theory. But whatever... could be wrong....
I did a little reading on how a stripper would be defined. I don't know if dancers at Chrome take any clothes off that they are wearing over their lingerie apparel but taking clothing off while performing would be a stripper. Exotic dancer may be a better description of what chrome dancers are doing.
The OutHouse, where Toni did more dancing than at Chrome, offer the dancer a choice of being fully clothed, partially clad or nude. It's BYOB and the dancer does not have to pay the club to perform there.
This is what is said on their website for anyone wanting to perform at their establishment.
Well, there's also the ATM thing, which is up in the air right now as far as I am concerned.
If she was attempting to get cash from an ATM then there is no way she was going on a paid date. You don't grab a sandwich on your way to the smorgasbord.
It says on her twitter that her bank is Bank of the West. If you're at that QuikTrip and you want to hit a Bank of the West ATM you have 3 options. The closest one is near Parkville. It's a bit of a drive, but it is not out of the question that she went up there to get cash from her ATM. It all depends on what her options were and possibly what the associated fees might be.

Why wouldn't an exotic dancer make a date for sex with a customer and meet them after work?
Way back on the first forum I said I wouldn't call it stripping if it were non-nude, and I'm sticking to it.
Toni did call herself a stripper, so the point is somewhat moot.
I was simply defending Ms. Anderson's choice of words. Do you really want to argue with her about whether or not her daughter fits the definition of a stripper? Some people have been trying to say she's being deceptive (not here, necessarily) or in denial. I don't see it that way.
You could just as easily ask why a bank teller wouldn't make a date for sex with a customer and meet them after work.
There are tons of reasons not to. I would think that it could cause problem customers.
From an article about stripper myths:
"... through my own experience and research, I found that the vast majority of strippers don’t work as prostitutes..."
