Is it possible that she was actually meeting David Jolly to sell him some drugs (pot, coke, meth, etc), and that she was headed to Parkville to pick them up? This would explain why she was headed in the opposite direction & why David was waiting for her at the other QuikTrip & fell asleep in his car, because she never showed up. Maybe she knew someone who had some & was doing him a favor.
It's very possible that whomever she was meeting to pick up the drugs, had already planned to rip her off, steal her car, & possibly Toni, as well. It's the only explanation as to why she would have been headed away from her final destination. I don't know why I didn't think of it before. Maybe it was some guys she'd met at the club & she never called them, because the meeting place & time were already set... Or maybe they did communicate by phone & the police are looking into them. If so, Parkville is a pretty desolate place to be meeting at 5pm. Didn't you say on the other site that the police had said that they have suspects? 5?
What do you think, Pete?
P. S. I left the other site, too. It's Elizabeth.
Well, if this is true - not even sure parkville etc is even true at this point - It fits my theory that her destination was based on drug deal of some sort.
I theorize that it was the most likely, simply because I didn't think prostitution, stalker, human trafficking was as probable.
So, like I said before, that should lead us to ask - What was the motivation?
Drug dealers care about money. So questions to ask are -- did Toni owe them money? If so, that is a motivation for a drug dealer to do something bad. Maybe even sell her into human trafficking -- to pay her debt.
However, now we come back to what I was saying is the more probable. What motivation would a drug dealer have for making Toni disappear? ----> snitch
To me, it's still the one theory that makes all dots connect. I honestly can't see a drug dealer taking such potentially drastic steps, unless it was something that would bring harm to them and their business, and potentially put them in prison.
As I said, Toni was very capable of making money and not some strung out dope fiend in an alley. So even if she had a debt, a drug dealer is just going to apply pressure as she's able to earn money, that's clear.
Snitch also explains why LE is so tight lipped about everything. Why? Because if she isn't in danger at the moment, and then people find out she is a snitch... now she's in real danger.
