Monday night's questions about Haleigh's clothes and laundry

If the school did not erase that "U" for unexcused, who would have done it? The additional explanation that was typed was the oddest thing about the entire record. Somebody went out of there way to type in explanations for the U, E , T and "." They typed in explained the "." (DOT)meant "attended and on time". In Government records, I have not seen this before, as it is not necessary when there is a place for Tardy on the record.

It appeared to be overkill. They type did not match the record as the record appeared to be a carbon. The explanations were typed with a different typewriter or computer as the rest of the record did not match at all. Why would that be released? The school would not have done this. It tells me somebody wanted to prove Haleigh's school attendance to the public. We can be darn sure that copy was not retrieved by LE but most likely by a parent or family member for evidence of attendance.

The answers lie in the 911 call. Misty had NO idea what Haleigh was wearing when she left that MH.
It is possible that the last time she saw Haleigh she WAS wearing the pink shirt, as that is what she wore to school. We have Haleigh being driven home by RC. RC says he just dropped her and sped off to work. Misty says he was inside loving her, jr and Haleigh and then left.

Her job was to say she and the children were asleep. The had dinner and watched movies and were PUT to bed at a normal hour just like half of America does each night. I think not!...as these two are far removed from the Walton's family model....can't imagine any routine in that house. IMO, Misty most likely left that house any chance she could get. I would not be surprised if the kids were given benedryl or something else to get them to settle down. I think Haleigh was a handful and if she didn't want to sleep, she was not going to go to sleep.....period.
You are straight on,,,whisperer,,,if Haleigh was anything like my oldest son,,it was a pulling out my hair type of nightmare to get him to go to sleep...If he wasn't having to keep going to the bathroom,,,he was thirsty,,or he wanted the light on or,,on and on and on....I never once even thought about giving him something to make him go to sleep...I was 19 yrs old and he and his brother lead the lifestyle of their very young Father, and myself,,,as they had school, bedtime schedules to keep....It was a nightmare when he started school, because it was hard for me to keep him on his schedule.......I can't imagine how caotic ,it would have been ,,,,among the drugs and other selfish ideas,,with her being only 17 years old and these were not even her own children......How in this world could tn or ss not see what a daily chore it was for Misty to care for those little ones..or should I say lack of care..>>>Looking back 40 years,,,,I was totally overwhelmed,,and these were my own babies,,,I loved dearly....

Good question Donejat...
If the story is true then GMA has them and we will never know the truth. Neves said she sent GMA over to check on the kids and add "also to deliver laundry"....think about it. Why would Neves tell her mother to delvier laundry?

GMa says THAT is why she came by, to give misty laundry...yeah, ok..

I did not know Florida can get that cold. This is January there and they are colder than we are. There is no way those kids were sitting on the porch with weather like this, balancing a plate in their lap, while waving to Granny.

I wish the school would tell us. If what misty says was true, Haleigh would have arrived late more than likely.
I have been on this case since it was first reported,,,and I had no idea we did not have the answers to these simple questions....It is only now when it is revisited, by me,,,I am thinking a true cover-up...why else are both GM's saying things that do not make any sense???? When do we get the inside storys by way of the sunshine laws,,,so this can be figured out???

I know darn tootin' that I'd not be driving 30 miles round trip to drop off just a few articles of clothing at that time of night! It makes no sense that TN asked for "a family member" to "go over" .... makes no sense that a family member who says she was there said she came over to drop off laundry (with a working washer/dryer in the MH), and makes less sense that this person wasn't mentioned for 9 days, and only then by TN, confirmed to be GGM by GGM, and never by Misty in all of her retelling of the story until August, a few weeks before she got a divorce.
Was either grandmother given the LDT..aND IF NOT,,,WHY NOT???aT this point in time,,would it not be a good idea to flush out the truth??? given the different stories of what went down that day, and night???

When Haleigh first disappeared, there was much talk by Misty of cleaning, washing blankets, etc. That's all she could talk about. People were immediately alerted that she might have been cleaning up a crime scene. Enter AS about a week later stating that she delivered laundry that night. Double cover - she did the laundry and she saw Haleigh on the porch eating dinner alive and well. Later, RC comes out with the statement that there was no laundry detergent in the house. Did LE ever confirm that there was no laundry detergent in the house that night? Maybe Misty's original statements were true. That she was indeed doing all the cleaning and blanket washing that she said she was doing. AS and RC then had to discredit her early statements because of the suspicious nature of all that cleaning and washing.
I am not sure how it fits,,,but didn't someone early on say there was dirty close in the dryer...Could it have been a pee pee blanket, placed in there to dry...I am not sure how anything fits,,but I sure do wish we had more correct answers from the ones who really could have made a difference in Haleigh's life...or death.

Ron C is the person who told Tim Miller there were dirty clothes in the dryer. Ron C stated there was no detergent in the house.
TJ Ward the man who gave Misty the LVA has stated the pee blanket didn't happen.. He also stated last night on LEVI's show Haleigh was not put to bed that night.JMO

I can see grandma washing clothes for them, if they spent time with her over the weekend long enough to dirty their clothes.... but not driving that far just to deliver them, especially since Misty said they went to her house that very morning to get Haleigh's favorite outfit for school.
My mother kept extra clothes for my boys and washed the dirty ones when she did her own laundry. She just kept them in a drawer for the next time they were there and needed them.
As for what Haleigh was wearing... Misty should remember whether they took baths and what they put on afterwards to go to sleep. If she can't even remember that much, she was in no shape to be taking care of them to start with!

Elle, are you talking about the pic's of the trailer that were snapshots from the video of the NG show? If so, that doesn't look like laundry detergent to me. It looks like that "Oxyclean", the booster to whiten clothes. Also, I could be wrong but that footage IIRC was taken about 3 weeks after Haleigh disappeared so plenty of time to purchase laundry detergent, if indeed that is what it is.

P. S. Just an afterthought but, you know, that "Oxyclean" does a fabulous job on "stains".

Imo I think granny needed a reason to come by and check the kids, seems like she watched them A LOT and maybe even felt "like" a mother to them? So why not grab the kids cloths wash them and dump them off? I don't think she liked misty @ all!

Also, I can't understand why anyone would put dirty things in a dryer, even more if they throw dirty cloths on the floor in front of the washer/dryer area all the time.......somethings off....

When my teenager wants something washed right NOW, he takes whatever is in the washer (could be half a load waiting to fill up or could be a load but we are out of soap so it is sitting there waiting for me to buy some) and dumps it in the dryer. He then washes his stuff and throws it in the dryer with the dirty stuff and it all dries. He never returns the dirty dryer clothes to the washer machine. I figure he does not take the dirty clothes out of the dryer and dump them on the floor because I will yell. Misty possibly had intentions of returning the dirty dryer clothes to the washer and forgot.

Yes.I thought Oxyclean has a laundry detergent. If they don't I have used the Oxyclean only in the past on our clothes.:waitasec:

I think the dirty clothes were in the dryer, when MC and or RC were trying to set the MH to look a certain way....They wanted it to look like an intruder had been in the trailer, well that would be a little hard to explain, someone trying to carry a child out and having to step over god only knows how much dirty clothes in the floor, so best thing to do...Shove them in the nearest empty place, the dryer....It reminds me and I am sure all the mothers on here, tell your child to clean there room and half of the crap laying around it either thrown in the closet or shoved under the bed....So I think that is how and why those clothes were in the dryer.

just thinking out loud here....wondering if LE ever found the bag of CLEAN clothes that GGMS dropped off, because we know Misty prob did not take the time to put them away.....
