This may be the break that we need. Hopefully these "suspects" will have information about JC murder. I can see them giving up info to reduce charges in their current situation. Fingers crossed.

I only wish. But I don't think this is related to JC's case, other than the burg of Courtland seems to be fertile ground for homicidal maniacs. The location of this last one is around the corner from Carlisle where Ben lives, and I believe that the guy named "Chicken" was murdered on Carlisle near his home. JMO

Progress In Jessica Chambers Case

http://www.myfoxmemphis.com/story/29185213/das-office-making-progress-in-jessica-chambers-case
Updated: May 28, 2015 6:43 PM PDT
More than five months after a 19-year-old Mississippi girl was found burned in her car, the District Attorney says they are making progress in learning what happened.

District Attorney John Champion told FOX13 they're getting closer to piecing together what happened the last hour Jessica Chambers was alive - between 6:30 and 7:30 in the fatal evening.

Champion said they're using alternate methods to solve this mystery.

“We feel like we've talked to everybody that we know of, so we're having to try and do it through technology and<snipped>

Wait...what?! They say they have made progress yet they are starting all over with technology and alternate methods? LOL Progress usually means development, advancement, or improvement. Hmmm...I wonder if someone left out the word "little" before progress?! At least it would actually make sense.

Maybe they should reevaluate this case as a Suicide and see where it takes them since they are moving onto alternate methods and technology. ;) Evidently, the whole murder investigation is stalled completely. That is what happens when you go down the wrong path. It hits a dead end that stops them cold and can go nowhere because the truth simply is not there.

So....one guy with a gun kills two guys with a gun, or guns, and no charges are going to be filed because he was defending himself...wow...pretty handy with a gun, I guess. But at least it has no connection to Jessica's murder, although unless LE knows who killed her, I don't know how they can be sure. SMH

Never bring a fist to a knife fight.
Never bring a knife to a gun fight.
Never bring a gun to a castle fight.
Especially if the knight is home and probably waiting to lower the draw bridge on you...

That's because he lived at the residence and he was protecting himself and the other people that also lived there ..... goes to show how dumb the intruders were.

And this short video illustrates the failed tactical approach probably used by the two deceased marauders...

LOL

Sadly too true, also why Erich Nowsch fired off 20+ rounds to hit Tammy Myers once in the head. Toss some lead in the general direction and people will respect you - Or pay their respects as the case may be.

Most helpful video, rbarber17. I'll practice the pro's tips tomorrow which is already today.

Trespassing would-be killers, approached a planned bbq. gathering for an outdoor cookout. Apparently the man of the house was prepared with his weapon for the opposition's arrival. Reporter said there had been a fight the day before. The interlopers were there to seek revenge for the beating their fellow peer received. The Castle Doctrine kicked butt.

BW heard a Hummer pull into her driveway. How exactly did the Hummer sound? Had she heard it before? Did it pull up fast? Slam on the brakes? And Hummers retail appx $55,000. BW was pushed back into her home. The bad guys approach, weapons drawn, 2 guys asking questions. Looking for man of the house who manages to pow-pow both of them them to prevent harm to innocent party goers. Both male intruders are dead on the lawn when BW looks outside. Was it her grandson who fired the fatal shots? Had he gone through the training process to get a gun license to carry? Therefore, learning quick draws. The gangster holds the grip where one hand is dropped, the the gun is turned 15 degrees, and bullets are thrown at the victim. #GanstaStyle

Warning may not be suitable for all audiences. Scroll and roll. It's graphic.

Which begs the question : Why wasn't Jessica just shot? It's easier and quicker. Pow-Pow.

But they didn't shoot. They hit her on the head, either from back to front or vice versa, on the top of the right side of her head. Someone mentioned possibly w/ the butt of a gun. What about a hammer? Maybe she was surprised from behind.

I pray she was knocked out...maybe given a date rape drug. They doused gas on her from head to her ankles. She was wearing her panties but not her slippers her mother described her as wearing out of the home that evening or they would have melted to her feet. She wore pj bottoms, a Tshirt w/ jacket and slippers when she departed from home. What type material was her jacket? Nylon? Highly flammable? Where are her shoes?

The sociopath wanted Jessica to suffer over some pre-conceived problem; real or not; past, present or near future. They wanted her to suffer unimaginable pain. Believe me an agonizing Jessica screamed due to the intensity of the radiant heat. Her tongue and throat swollen from the gas. Esophagus became swollen and parched and the flash fire engulfed her fuel soaked clothing into hot flames. Rubber tires burn at 170* and the Rios did. Rubber fumes are black and highly toxic. If Jessica was exposed to 140 - 170 F degree heat from the burns, it fried her skin, hence, some was black, crispy.

Do ppl kill for sympathy or pity? For attention? We've seen some adorable and beautiful photos of Jessica. She's a little doll. It would be easy for others to hate /strike that/ be jealous of Jessica. Was she Daddy's little girl? I pray it's so.

She and her mom did not have a stable, healthy, happy relationship. Jess moved out of her mom's home and in w/ BR & TF. She was close to BCs daughter, Annabelle. She wrote letter to Kelsey Arendale. Prob no Internet at Leah's where she stayed 6 weeks. Wrote letters. When she came home early at LDs behest: She was completely changed. She kept her room clean. She looked for a job.

JMHO and all that jazz

LE will typically withhold some critical piece of information about a crime, to help them confirm whether a suspect or a person confessing to the crime actually knows more than the general public. What do you folks out there in WebSleuths Radio Land think is that missing piece of information in this case?

What accelerant was used, her phone logs, other evidence collected (albeit 3 days later) from the crime scene, autopsy info/toxicology report, CCTV footage for a start...

10) Perps were cunning -- left no evidence of their identity behind by torching everything (assuming no foreign DNA in Panola Corner's "secret" autopsy findings). Even world class forensic experts are stumped by this MS foggy bottom crime.

Not cunning to have left her cell phone and battery with their fingerprints all over them.

Is that a fact, or conjecture on your part, samanth17? Do you have a link where the sheriff or the DA stated they have recovered fingerprints from either Jessica's cell phone or its battery? Even in the heat of the moment (excuse the pun) I believe a perpetrator would have had the wherewithal to wipe such items clean before discarding them for LE to find. JMO

No, we don't yet know if LE recovered finger prints from the phone and battery .... we'll know at trial if there will ever be a trial .... but as you state 'in the heat of moment' is when perps make mistakes.
