(1) I'm no mathematician, but it seems like the odds these days of being from Courtland, MS and dying a violent death are a real statistical anomaly.
(2) Are they doing murder/suicides these days with a silencer?

Jeepers, makes perfect sense now. Why would you, SeriouslySearching , after a mere 34,937 blog entries know such a thing, and I, with a mere token 98 lifetime entries, not... Ah, to ask the question is to answer it. Thanky kindly.

IF she did have a gash...and I am not convinced she did since her father chose not to see her...it could have been caused by the concussion of a blast when the fuel was ignited knocking her into the door or another part of the car. It wasn't a factor in her death as the COD was being burned over 98% of her body. Any bump on the head at the right angle can result in a good gash and a lot of bleeding. Head wounds normally bleed like crazy.

No one had to hit her over the head to cause it. If LE is going by that single clue to state someone was with her and murdered her, they are going to have a difficult time proving it was not something else unless the blunt force trauma is so severe it caused a subdural hematoma found in the autopsy.

I questioned how no one heard 2 gunshots in a motel, too. Pillows can muffle the sounds, but if a person doesn't care about being caught because of suicide then why bother? I don't know about the area and it could be possible gun play is very common so people didn't pay attention.

Crimes happen for a variety of reasons. This murder/suicide sounds like a domestic violence situation. There is no relation to this case or others, imo (in my opinion).

In relation to the Eric Cates reference, the first 2 maps show how close Walker Co., AL is to Panola Co., MS. The last link is to Lee Co. where LeAnn was tied to a tree and burned. She escaped. Perps trial should be soon. I'm not good at highlighting images but someone could place MS & AL next to one another and highlight those 3 counties. I believe we would see they are in similar latitudes.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Map_of_Alabama_highlighting_Walker_County.svg

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Map_of_Mississippi_highlighting_Panola_County.svg

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Co...ap_of_Mississippi_highlighting_Lee_County.svg

This is the best I could muster, a map showing the three county seats. Typically a county seat is near the center of its county, so it is no more than one day's horseback ride for any county resident who needs to transact business there.

Looks like those three points align along the US-78/US-278 corridor.

Sooo... who's irrational about suicide-by-fire?

Those of us who believe LE when they declared this a murder and are backed up by forensics such as an autopsy, or those who continue to insist that it was a suicide in spite of announcements by LE?

I'm curious as to why someone would continue to force the suicide-by-fire theory down people's throats (and call them irrational) when the evidence points to murder?

I didn't see anyone say people were irrational about anything, but I personally feel like LE does not have the forensics to back up their theory on this one. If they do, I wish they would put it out there because so far I am not seeing any so-called proof a murder took place. They have no weapon. The cause of death was due to the burns nothing else. The autopsy has not been released to my knowledge. Where is all the proof this was a homicide? Let's see some forensics! Let's see SOMETHING from LE to prove murder.

There are certain cases where one can easily see how LE comes to their conclusions, but this is not one of them. They may be able to give people their theory with no explanation and some may take it hook, line, and sinker without one ounce of proof...but then there are others who may require a bit more than they ask people to take on blind faith.

If anyone can show me the evidence it is murder, I would like to see it. I do know so far...LE hasn't been able to deliver on that note.

Myron Hall's name has been mentioned a few times here and there on fb pages when JC case was being discussed..not as a suspect....the couple shared a deceased friend of JC's as well...Blackk Randy...If I recall there was talk of JC being at a motel on her last couple of hours...not sure if that information was ever proved or disproved..

I just don't see murder suicide..the case is still under investigation

RHs rap sheet is more extensive. The Hs family being mean folks in Panola Co. going back generations.
<snip>

(a) If I were LE operating on a limited budget, I would invest 99.8% of it in watching ole RH, assuming of course he wasn't enjoying one of his many county "paid vacations" on Dec. the 6th -- JMO.

(b) Interesting family connection I stumbled across on the Panola County Sheriff website:
CHRIS FRANKLIN, CHIEF DEPUTY - married to Amy Hentz Franklin
http://panolacountysheriff.com/page.php?id=1

(c) Rehash of a previously cited Panolian newspaper article from April:
"We have a couple of possibilities, but they're not going to tell us; they're real, real bad drug addicts." [Sheriff Darby]
"That would indicate that they've done this before," said exchange member Bobby Baker.
"This history with the person we suspect (is that he) has done this before," the sheriff said.

There will no evidence presented to the public .... any evidence will be presented to a grand jury and they decide if there is enough evidence to take it to trial.

We don't know that "LE hasn't been able to deliver...". LE isn't required to provide us any information except what they think will help the investigation.

The weapon was fire.

Yes, in spite of the several times I've linked the relative abundance of documented car fire suicides listed online, including this one ruled as such earlier in June, there is still an irrational unwillingness on the part of posters even to consider such a thing as possible.

Yes. I am aware of the way LE works, but usually there are common knowledge facts in a case. Here...LE is full of talk and zero to back any of it up except to spew more theories. Then they come out and state they are literally starting over. So...what did I miss?! Doesn't that mean they don't have enough "evidence" of ANY kind to take to a GJ?
