Is this the first confirmation of Jessica being beaten prior to being set on fire? I recall it being mentioned here and there that she was hit over the head... I could have forgotten if anyone could refresh my memory that would be great. TIA

Saturday I spent a small amount of time using several Boolean Search strings attempting to tease out info on the debate. Unfortunately I ran out of time. Today I have a doctor's appt so I cannot do further research.

Here is what I was able to extract,no sequence,no context as to who is speaking other than what I was able to pull off the web.

At first I was going to post "you have GOT to be kidding me!", but what more could we expect from PC at this point? Nothing directed at any individual as a personal jab, just given the history of the state as a whole, it would be more shocking to actually see attempts at breaking the cycles of corruption than it is to see that cycle repeat itself.
Oh, and I was mistaken in a previous post about my subscription-it is for the CL, not the Panolian. Sorry, ya'll! My CL subscription is still current if anyone has any requests from that publication...

One more month and it will be a full year since Jessica's young life was taken in a way this forum will never forget. I think of that "Jessica shuffle" as she was called off camera at the M&M by someone wanting to bum a cigarette from her on that fateful night. So trusting, so unsuspecting, so undeserving of such a horrific crime, and so VERY undeserving of such a lack of concerted effort to bring her killer(s) to JUSTICE.

So sad, so very very sad. With Darby re-elected now, there will no longer be any political pressure to make things happen. Go back to sleep Panola County. Let's hope the Major keeps his promise to Ben. Eventually.

I am going to try to conduct a survey here on the WebSleuths Jessica Chambers forum. Immediately following this post, I plan to add six additional posts, each one listing someone who I would consider a prime suspect, despite the fact that there are no official Persons of Interest (POI) for this investigation.

The suspects are:
(1) RH, now believed to be deceased from liver cancer.
(2) ME, a registered sex offender currently in the Ouachita, LA jail.
(3) A person known to Jessica whose first name is “Eric” or “Derrick” or “Cedric” or some similar “_ick” sounding name.
(4) One or more black gang members with ties to Panola County drug trafficking.
(5) Jessica Chambers herself (it was a suicide).
(6) None of the previous persons.

I have no idea whether this is a violation of the rules, but will find out soon enough. Again, I am not accusing the persons listed above of actually committing this crime, merely soliciting the opinion of those who frequent this forum, as well as other WebSleuths forums, and so are familiar with this crime in particular and with other criminal investigations in general. Let’s make the official end of this survey the end of day on December 6, 2015, although there is no way for me to really stop it after that point. Try to vote for only one if you can, two if you must.
