This may have been discussed previously, so if it has been, forgive and enlighten me.

Both of Jessica's FB pages will only allow her friends to view her timeline posts. That is totally foreign to every other FB page I have viewed of any other inhabitant of either Courtland or Batesville.

In the early days, did any other WS member see any posts on either page? Did someone take her pages private early on? Why have no "friends" posted any screenshots of what they can see, as a memorial or otherwise, on their pages? Why are her friends on one page available, and on the other one hidden?

All of her facebook page settings have remained the same since the beging. I have seen a total of 3 timelines of hers they were created at different times in her life.

IMO I do find it strange that so many others have timelines with so much info that the public can see. One possible explanation as to why no one has posted screen shots, could be they might have shared a status or a photo not realizing the settings were set to friends only which would result in the general public not being able to see it. Some people on fb do not understand the settings.

This one doesn't show the car approaching as the other one did and has a five minute gap right after the car pulls out of frame and picks up again after she is already parked. I thought I had viewed one at the correct speed early on that didn't have the gap but I couldn't find it, maybe I'm misremembering, But yeah if its not her then a very similar car just happened to pull by ten seconds before she pulled into to pumps.

So it looks like she might have came from the south, likely from the road she lived on and turned in the back/side entrance. The clerk from what I read in a Daily Mail article has her traveling south when she left. It gets tricky after that.

The discrepancy on the time I haven't nailed down completely. The 6-6:30 as far as I can tell was only mentioned after the surveillance video came out, 3 days after the murder iirc. The following day the Clarion Ledger had a article with some quotes from Lisa as well as a statement that JC left a little after 6PM. I question whether those words came from Lisa or the author, having seen the newly released video the day before. Like others have said the mom can be forgiven for not remembering exact times given her state of mind just a few days after her daughter had passed. She likely watched the surveillance footage before the CL article and the time stamp had her confused. Here's that article,

So with hundreds of articles having JC being discovered 90 minutes after she was at the store I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest it was actually 2.5 hours after the gas purchase. I base this on the mothers recollection from the radio show and from the clerk's statements on the video posted below. I have no reason to not believe what he says between 7:50-10:20 and cant see a reason for him making that up.

• an earlier arrival at M&M than 6:24:3x;
• or Jessica may have been someplace south of the intersection of 51 and Carlisle for 1.5 hours;
• or Jessica dallied around Carlisle for approximately 1.5 hours;
• or the CCTV footage is off by 1 hour.

The video arrival of her car seems to imply that she is arriving south of the kiosk, not north. If she were arriving from the north, then theoretically she may have spent an hour or so somewhere north of M&M.

I seriously do not believe that she left home at 5:00 - 5:30, drove north to Shilo Road, then right to US 51, then entered M&M's southern most highway enterance, passed through the outside stall, performed a 3-point left hand turn, and stopped at her gas pump at 6:24:3x. It is a circuitous route yes but it is not a 1.5 hour drive!

When I said she came from the south I should have been more clear. I meant when she pulled in the place she entered south of the store. probably left home traveled south via carlisle entered through the back/side entrance.

Regarding the lack of illumination, it being 30+ minutes after sunset, an overcast sky, light saturation coming from the lighting under the gas pump canopy and other lights from the store, and the camera pointing southeast its my opinion as I said earlier that the time can not be established using the video. In other words if you looked at video from that day at 5:24pm and compared it to video from the same camera at 6:24 the illumination or the lack there of would be the same.

I'm fine with it being 6:24 if that's what it turns out to be, Its just that I can't discount what the camera operator is telling us, especially with the moms recent statement regarding the time JC left the house.

Probably not many direct witnesses per se (outside of perpetrators/or/scared by-stander(s)), but someone may have noticed something "not right" and didn't think anything of it at time (ie. smelling like gasoline, person acting strange). Additionally, if Jessica had some prior issues with perpetrators, then JC possibly confided in someone about fights or being scared/avoidance. People may not think those "ancillary" events are connected to Jessica, but I hope that people would still notify LE/FBI if there is anything that could be related (ie Did Jessica use drugs? If so, who was her seller? Any weird people at new job? Anyone in particular JC avoided? Anyone bully Jessica in school? Any of the gas station people if had past issue with JC? Any new up and coming inititated gangbangers? etc.) because these things may be missing links.

And thanks Classito for the links to unsolved cases. It occurred to me that if Jessica was a witness (or perceived witness) to any crime, solved or not, she could be a target. It would be a very long list if one looks at all of the arrests of these characters from the last year, but if JC were witness or had knowledge about crimes, idk. Then again, perpetrator(s) could have been paranoid about Jessica for no reason and used her as a scapegoat, even if it's not rational. I keep forgetting that the person(s) who did this are not rational, but likely off-kilter.

I think the perp. has left the area. The first JC Facebook page that I found was so odd. I actually got chills. All it was were a couple of photos of her, her town, and maybe one or two people she was "following" which meant there were no actual "friends" listed on her friend list. No posts. Nothing. My first thought was that it could be a fake page. If so, why? Seemed to me it could have been set up to communicate to someone else the identity of Jessica. This is where she is... this is what she looks like. It was just very strange. It's gone now, the last I checked. Could someone have targeted Jessica from afar? I think it's a possibility.

I was looking at this Wikipedia page about notable unsolved murders, and one thing I noticed was that there has not been an unsolved murder since the mid-90’s (Tupac, JonBenet, Biggie) in the U.S. that has generated significant and enduring national media interest. I know we have talked about why the media has little interest in this case, and it made me realize that it probably has nothing to do with anything specific about this case. There has been tens of thousands of unsolved murders (maybe even 100,000+) since 1997, many that include sympathetic victims, brutality, and sensational circumstances, yet none of them have been able to really grab the national media’s interest. Can anyone think of an unsolved murder since ’97, where the victim was never missing, that generated significant national media coverage?

I think the only people that know are the people that lit the fire and walked away. As long as one never tells, it won't ever get solved. However, if one is ever involved in any other crime and caught, they will quickly be willing to tell the truth if it means they get immunity. Someone isn't sleeping well and I hope Jessica haunts them.

I agree it gave me chills as well. Like a fake Facebook page from a serial cheater. The type of page a married man with a family makes to gain new hook ups... Only 1 or two pics, a recently made page, no pics from his childhood or of parents or siblings. That type of page is always a [emoji626] many dating sites list what to look for as red flags.
I have always thought that was a fake page from the first time I saw it. I think it was created by someone who was underhanded.Remember Jessica was at Leah's House during that time. If she had access to her niece on Facebook, (on any type computer, email) etc...why on earth would she be hand writing a letter? It's my belief they didn't have access to the internet there. It was supposed to be a SAFE HOUSE.
ETA: obviously Jessica wasn't trying to scam anyone for money or pretend she was someone she wasn't. I DO believe someone was pretending to be her while she was at Leah's House for nefarious reasons???? is WHY???

It seems even less likely it was just chance or random, to me, now. The perp/s may have had it out for her and may have known the spot and may have wanted her found, as such.
