I'm not privy to all that investigators did, but they could have cleared up that issue had they been more forthcoming with information that they had. Could Jessica have believed that she was under threat? She had recently told her mother that "those b.......s think I'm snitching". We do not know who provided her w the weed and pills that she sold. She may have thought that if something happened to her, that some dude named Eric was behind it. just speculating here.jmo

I curious how well at the time plain clothes Narc Inv Tyler Mills knew of JC and her drug selling? Could she also have been a CI? Like Def attorney said how and why did CI Mary T think automatically those were JC keys? I can't remember but wonder if she and baby daddy King knew JC personally. That something else cant get passed. Who were the other 3 male dna on the keys. And I still ticked that the Def attorney picked those up without gloves during Closing and no one said anything!

JMHO if she were a CI and felon/fresh out of prison QT suddenly found out, that could be a motive for murder by someone

Was Jessica able to pronounce her own name clearly where they could make out 'Jessica Chambers" when she was asked? If not, if I was a juror on the case, I would dismiss who she supposedly said did this, and concentrate on the evidence provided in the case.

My apologies to sunset beach. I corrected my post 12 in post 32 this thread.

Reference My Post #32
Correction, earlier in the thread (Post# 12)I did a synopsis on the CNN Special. After I realized misquoted Cole Hanley I went back to my original notes and confirmed I had scribbled 'someone' not 'they'. Perhaps you will understand my inaccuracy when I say immediately after the CNN program I took my husband to the ER. It turned out to be another of many challenges we face since he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.I think it is sleep deprivation that muddled my thinking.

BBM, and
OT, perhaps, but I have to send my comfort to you, MizStery. I hope you are both doing as well as possible in such a difficult situation.

My understanding is that she said "Yombers" and "Tabers" or something similar when asked her name. I agree with you; I can't give much weight to "Eric" when she wasn't able to say her own name. I wonder if she was trying to say "Tellis" but it came out sounding like "Eric." JMO of course.

Some said she was able to to, some said she wasn't.

Jessica is name that first responders said she told them her first name was. Jessica would have been harder to say and understand than Eric. Daniel Cole testified he thought she said Catina, Catrina or Courtney - which again would be harder - but he did not put those in his report. She had to have told them Jessica. Some knew her personally but did not recognize her on scene.

Those statements and testimony are considered evidence provided at trial that they are to consider. Matter of fact those were provided by the State same as all evidence and witness testimony.

Thank you for your reply and answer. I certainly 100% agree. If she cant even say her own name clearly it is sadly obvious she wouldn't be able to speak clearly enough to name her killer.

I hope the jury gives that much weight for it shows she was unable to pronounce words clearly including even her own name. :(

Anyone know "how long" the jurors deliberated yesterday? Was it 4 hours??

TIA!

I'm over at Mary Yoder's thread posting tweets.... :online:

Still have Leah's tweet open but no tweets out of her. :dunno: I guess there isn't much to report unless the jurors have questions!

True but it is also in evidence that she couldn't even pronounce her last name which isnt a hard name to say. That too is in evidence.

If you go back and listen to the testimony of both Paul the data analyst expert and the MBI guy who conducted the video interviews of QT you'll be privy to all the things they said they did to try to find every eric or derrick. You'll also see the scores and scores of lies QT told.

But just for argument's sake, let's say there was an "Eric" that somehow LE missed. Let's say someone named "Eric" or "Derrick" exists and can be connected to either JC or QT. How did this "Eric" know that JC was in a car with QT at 7:30pm? How did this "Eric" know that JC's car was driven up Heron Rd around 7:40pm on Dec 6 and parked against the tree/fence? Who told this "Eric" and how did "Eric" know this when neither QT or JC knew their own exact plans that evening? Who else but QT knew JC was at QT's house/yard during the time period of 7pm to 7:30pm? What evidence shows you this (remember, neither QT or JC used their phones).

Thank you. Usually when witnesses are opposing in their testimony of the same thing jurors tend to rule those witnesses out and will go with evidence that can be verified for its truthfulness.

Yes, four hours, or maybe just over 4.

And I thought someone just testified (I can't recall who) that he was also told that when asked her last name, JC also reportedly said she didn't know, as well as it was either Eric (or Derrick)!

I pray that Jessica receives the justice she deserves.

If the jury convicts, I believe they will think his motive was to sexually assault her since she had spurned his advances several times. Imo, he lured her there under false pretenses, then raped her. and burned her up so she couldn't report him to anyone.

I cant even begin to imagine the shock and trauma Jessica was already in when found. It is a miracle she could utter any verbal sounds at all. 'Chambers' is a very easy name to pronounce yet she couldn't even do that.:(

This is truly one of the most horrific cases because of the way Jessica was murdered. I don't even think drowning can come close to being burned alive. It shows her killer had no value for human life. None at all. All he wanted to do was protect himself from being caught.

IMO

NO evidence of rape. JMO
