A little info on the other driver:
"It’s still unclear exactly why ALEA waited so long to release any information about the crash.
In late January, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey issued a new Executive Order promoting more transparency in state government. The new requirements begin in late April."

This is a somewhat unusual delay of information to the public. Have there been other incidents with ALEA that provoked this new executive order?

Bureaucracy? The PIO just sat on the info perhaps? Maybe because her vehicle apparently caught fire, official ID took longer than usual? It's unfortunate for sure & ALEA needs to explain the delay in releasing info.

Seven state trooper public information officers have been assigned to certain sections of the state. State troopers will now be referred to as ALEA state troopers.
