Just a quick note here. I have said it a thousand times and I will say it again. I am NOT anti-LE. I tend to believe the to a point, but I also know that they can be wrong, and their mistakes often happen when a child is involved. They know the statistics, and if they can't prove "someone else" did something, they assume that the parents did. And that's when the problems come.

"That it is better 100 guilty Persons should escape than that one innocent Person should suffer, is a Maxim that has been long and generally approved." ~Benjamin Franklin, 1785

Just as long as the guilty person doesn't kill again and make 100 innocent persons suffer.

Mark Fuhrman: This is more about t defense of DB than Lisa I. Defense going on here. Stonewalling going on here by DB.

Why does ANYONE listen to that man? Especially in a case like this? HE planted evidence that probably got OJ acquitted. How he ever managed to overcome that to become some kind of "expert" is beyond me. He should be sitting in a jail cell.

I am sorry Karmaa- but no one ever proved he did that and from what I can tell- all these shows having him as a guest- shows they did not believe that he did either!JMO

I'm glad to hear that they've met with a private child psychologist. I was under the impression that no one outside of the police had spoken to them. I really feel for them regardless. :(

The police have not spoken to the children at all. They were interviewed for less than one hour by a social worker at the child protection center the day Lisa was reported missing.

Was it confirmed that they've seen a psychologist or just speculation by the posters? JT didn't say so imo, the implication from the context was that the boys had been interviewed for 5 hours by LE .

Probably for the same reason that I listen to what Joe T or BS or CS has to say. One thing I have learned from experience is most, not all, but most people and circumstances are grey-not all black and white. One learns to weigh, analyze and evaluate what people say and do.

Do I think Mark F is a great investigator? Uh...yes! But then again, I think Joe T is a great attorney as well. Doesn't change my mind that DB is the one most likely responsible for her baby being missing, though.

Removed post. Off topic and didn't want to start any more contention.

You are correct - no one ever proved it. But the fact that the glove was found on OJ's property, in the area that Fuhrman had been after having found the other glove at the crime scene, and it clearly didn't FIT OJ, is darned good evidence. And that glove pretty much was the lynchpin to OJ's acquittal. "If the glove doesn't fit... you must acquit".

JMO

IIRC, It was Kato Kalin that told LE that he heard a noise on the back of the wall in the house that he occuped on OJ's property. With that LE (furman) took a walk and found said glove. that is how I remember it. jmo

He'd know all about dirty defense tricks then... I might want to listen to someone like that if the topic is dirty defense tricks

I'm not sure why anyone would take whatever a talking head (and that's what MF is now) as gospel when we see a majority of them will quickly change their opinion when the circumstances change. (see FCA case for references).

I have a problem with the reporter who says that this is the area where "Baby Lisa was last seen at 4 in the morning". But in the interview, motorcyle guy only confirms that the baby he saw was about the size of "the baby that's missing". They didn't show the whole interview, but in the past video, I don't recall him actually identifying Baby Lisa.

BBM

BINGO!!! This has always bugged me about this eye witness account! This combined with the facts that he didn't come forward for at least a week, and he also strokes his chin/face as he's answering some of the reporter's questions (clear sign of deception).

He just struck me as someone wanting 15 min. of fame. I don't put ANY stock in his "eye witness account". But, of course, that's just MVHO! :innocent::twocents:

:seeya:Peeps.. I looked around and was like... am I in the main stream media thread???..... remember where you are...thanks guys:rocker:

I believe the topic was listening to TH's, not taking their words as gospel IMO. But I think it's not necessarily a good thing if one's opinions are incapable of changing or evolving when the circumstances change and new information comes in.

There are some talking heads who go on one show and agree with the host and then an hour later go on another show and again they agree with the host - who completely disagrees with the first host. That's not what I mean :)

But acceptance of digital billboards is not universal. Kansas City has a moratorium in place restricting new billboards, and cities nationwide are grappling with an issue some feel is destroying the beauty of their neighborhoods and countryside while also distracting drivers.

"We receive a lot of complaints from individuals who live in neighborhoods, and motorists who are concerned about the additional distractions and dangers billboards pose," said John Regenbogen, executive director of Scenic Missouri, which touts billboard control as one of its top issues. "When digital billboards come into a community, they're often met with outcry from residents."

They also keep missing children in the public eye. Fessler said his company, which donated those first billboards for Kemp's campaign in 2003, wanted to help gather tips in Lisa Irwin's search by keeping her image displayed on the billboards.

Motive is what continues to bother me. Who is benefiting (or supposed to benefit) from stealing, or harming, this child?

Many a confession has been got by confronting the parent in an upset state of mind before they have had time to collect themselves. It would have saved everyone a lot of trouble if it worked.

So true!!! And sadly, 61% of the time, LE would be right in accusing the parent in this situation. Sad, but true. They have to eliminate those closest to home... :(

Parents were responsible for 61% of children murders under the age of five.

Agree! It would be naive to take what talking heads say as "gospel." Similar to taking what a defense attorney says as "gospel."

IMO, reasonable people can and do change their opinion as circumstances change. I see nothing wrong with that! No reason for an individual to dig one's heels in out of a need to be right (unless one is a defense attorney).
