Since Stanton is big time it would make sense that he has people working for him and he is coordinating. Being high profile he would be unable to move about without attracting attention.
as far as what ive read it was the afternoon of oct 3rd the cells were restricted
coincidence? :innocent:
Why bother? If LE is looking for information to find the baby, they SHOULD bother. If they won't bother then it's pretty obvious that the intention is to try and get the parents to confess. And, that's been the point all along. Why would the parents go do that - guilty or innocent?
If the questions are really about finding the baby, then LE should be willing to ask them anywhere and by any means necessary - even by asking the lawyers to go between.
Well it seems to me that his 'team' is not sharing information with him. He is constantly misstating things as fact.Since Stanton is big time it would make sense that he has people working for him and he is coordinating. I was under the impression that he was not licensed in the state of Missouri so are we to believe that he's hired other investigators who are? I think the extent of his "investigating" is reading here and other boards and taking theories and getting information from them and then passing them on to JT. It wouldn't be the first time in a case IMO.
Plus, he is not licensed as a PI in MO. Maybe he has a local PI or two to do the leg work, similar to how Tacopina is not licensed in MO and needs a local attorney to work under him. Just a thought. What's confusing about that though, Stanton said no one on the parents' team had contacted Megan (he seemed surprised she existed when she came out in the media, imo) and no mention about he or anyone on the team talking to Shane, Dane, Mr. Brando, etc... Maybe they have, but if there's anything incriminating against them (that doesn't also incriminate the parents) you'd think we'd have heard about it as much or more than the blob (maybe not these folks' names, but their relationship to the case and why they are suspicious). It was just today that Picerno was the first of the parents' team to specifically throw out Jersey and Megan in MSM, the two questioned figures that we've known about the longest. All quite murky, imo.
It is truly confusing trying to determine Stanton's role and goal here. Maybe he himself no longer knows? JMO...

Picerno said that the defense also is conducting its own independent investigation of Lisas disappearance, but declined to discuss specifics of the effort.

What do you reckon this private investigation consists of? Bill Stanton does not appear to do any investigating, as far as I can tell.
I personally think JI did not know the phones were out of service for non-payment until Deb told him the next morning. Thus, he could go along with that statement. Why would he try to call her if he knew the phones did not work. I just don't think he knew they were inoperable that evening.
Or maybe he's consulting a psychic. :floorlaugh:
MW has indicated that someone from Cyndy Short's office had been in touch with her.

many of us spoke on this antagonistic tone that seems to emanate from the B/I Team re: LE.Picerno reiterated that Bradley and Irwin would not be questioned by police separately, saying he didn't want them to be "subjected to interrogation techniques." He said previous questioning "got nasty."

So what is it about being questioned separately? Is there something they desperately need to stay synchronized about or is it just code for "we won't be questioned at all"?
They were questioned separate in the beginning. That would've been the best time to catch differences in the stories.
