Angela Mastrovito is requesting assistance from the Oregon family that found Rebekah's items and called 911 on July 20, 2021.

Find Rebekah Barsotti - Home | Facebook

This is getting weirder and weirder.......LE has to know this people names...and a T-number, registered by a dispatcher. Ok, I understand the privacy policies, but why are they not open about it?

I would like to bring up this text, because it seems essential to me.....again why wasn't her body found in the last three months.......why didn't the river gave her body back? IMO she didn't drown....there is something else going on.......

For three months the Clark Fork River has revealed no trace of Rebekah's body. Hundreds of individuals; local authorities, river professionals, volunteers, family and friends have searched tirelessly over every stretch of the river, over countless hours, and found nothing, no trace of Rebekah’s body has ever been found in the water. Rebekah's parents are distraught and they have to ask hard questions. They have to ask to search not only the river but beyond, into every possibility of events, because when a woman fears she'll be made to disappear and then she actually does; when that daughter who was scared literally is plucked from our worlds without proof, without facts evincing what actually happened, then no question is too uncomfortable, no answer is too far out of reach, and no parent can sleep until they've done absolutely everything they know is necessary. Rebekah's parents seek for every possibility to be examined thoroughly, with the highest degree of integrity, and they need help with lodging and legal fees. They need help as they continue to push for an all-inclusive look at her story, at what may have happened to her, and at how she might be brought home.

I have requested a transcript of the 911 call under the Montana Public Records Act § 2-6-1001 et seq. I will let you know the Sheriff's response. The Sheriff overseas the 911 call center.

If I understand correctly from earlier posts, LE is not amenable to working with a PI. Would it be possible to hire a PI to surveil the abusive estranged husband?

You are correct LE will not work with a PI. I think the family has considered hiring a PI.

Was the dog cremated? If so what happened to the ashes? If the family has them, it might be worth searching them for the presence of a bullet. I know its a long shot, but if one were found, it would certainly get LE's attention

The dog was cremated. The family does have the ashes. I will pass that possibility on to the family. Thanks.

What a heart wrenching situation. I feel so sorry for you and your family. @laurawlms, I believe as I think you do, that DB is responsible for your niece's disappearance. I have gone back over all of the information you have provided and have been racking my brain trying to come up with a scenario that explains how DB abducts RB and her dog. I think this kind of an exercise is an important step in developing clues and avenues of further investigation. I think DB was tipped off by the caregiver that RB would be at the rest stop recreation area that day and that he drove there and waited for her to come back to her car before abducting her. It would have been too difficult to abduct her at the beach and march her and her dog up the steep trail to the parking lot. If this is the case then he must have staged the items found at the beach. When was the 911 call placed? Was it late enough to give him time to come back later that day to place her belongings at the beach?

If he abducted her, I believe he probably brought her back to his house. If I recall correctly, his house is located on the Clark Fork River. Is it upstream from where the dog was found? Downstream from the Rest Stop? I ask because the dog may have been killed on his property and dumped into the river from there. Perhaps that site is closer than 10 miles to where the dog was found. Ten miles seems like a long way for a dog's body to drift without getting hung up on debris.

I'll keep exploring this and other possible scenarios. We need to find some piece of the puzzle that will get LE's attention. And course all of the above is pure speculation and MOO.

The part about the ex possibly abducting her, I am thinking along those same dark thoughts, I do not believe she is in that river. A P.I could undercover and unravel some much needed information. MOO.

This case needs more attention and quick.

@laurawlms I am very sorry for all you are going through, trying to cope and deal with this day in/ day out has got to be so hard, strength consuming, please try and care for your mental state as much as you can.

Just throwing this out there, is it possible we could get Brian Entin to cover this case on Missing In America, its a new series brought out recently to highlight cases that need widespread attention. He is on Twitter or perhaps websleuths could feature this case, it breaks my heart if I'm honest. Makes me so sad. She is so young :(

All just my own humble opinion, of course.

I do follow your opinion. I am not sure what time the 911 call was made. I have requested a copy of the transcript under FOIA. I have not received a reply yet. The original missing report posted on Face Book said Rebekah went missing between 3:30 - 5:30. Maybe the 911 call was placed closer to 5:30.

The marital home (where DB continued living) is on the Clark Fork River west of where Rebekah went missing. The Clark Fork River flows west. The Dog was found 10 miles west down river from where Rebekah's personal belongings were found at the Alberton Climbing Rock. The dog was found east of the the marital home.

Thank you for your kindness. We have contacted so many podcasters. I'm not sure if we have contacted Brian. I will reach out to him. Tricia did have an interview with Rebekah's parents. It was at the same time that she did a feature on Gabby Petito. I think it was the same day they found Gabby.

This is very interesting. Since your post, I have been examining the area that the dog was found. I believe, as I think you do, that it would be nearly impossible for the dog to end up that far down the river if it drowned at the Alberton Rocks. I tend to believe the estranged husband when he said he was going to drown RB and her dog. If he abducted RB and her dog from the rest area, he likely headed west toward Superior. I suspect he is familiar with the area and left I-90 at Exit 66, Fish Creek Rd. A right on Fish Creek Rd would lead him to Old Highway 10 W, a lightly traveled road. A left onto Old Highway 10 W leads to the Triple Bridges, the perfect spot to dump a dead/murdered dog into the Clark Fork River from a car. The distance from the Triple Bridges to the Rock Creek beach where the dog was found seems about the right distance for the dog to travel downstream. All speculation of course.

If DB did abduct RB and toss her murdered dog into the Clark Fork River from the Triple Bridges as I have suggested above, what happened next. At that point I think DB makes a plan. He decides to hide RB's body and then return to the Albertson rocks to stage her belongings on the beach. From Old Highway 10 W, he could have turned right on Perkins Creek Rd and then right again on Road No. 459. Road No. 459 is a small, rural road that circles back eastward to I-90 (via Mead Ln) not far from the Alberton Rocks. It is remote and in my opinion would be the perfect place to hide a body. Specifically there several turnoffs leading up forested ravines that would provide cover for anyone doing something nefarious. If I were able to be in Montana, this is where I would search for RB.

Now the next question is would DB have had enough time to abduct RB and her dog, engage in foul play, cover it up and stage the scene at the Alberton Rocks. According to the timeline, RB was last seen at the Town Pump in Superior at 2:15. If she left shortly thereafter, that would put her at the Rest Stop at 2:45 or 3:00 at the latest. It appears she was on her way home to Missoula and decided to exercise her dog, so let's assume she stayed for an hour to an hour and half at the Albertson Rocks. That means she returned to the parking lot between 4:00 and 4:30. If the 911 call was made at 5:30, then DB would have had about an hour to an hour and a half to carry out his plan. In my opinion that would fit well with the scenario I have outline above.

Finally, despite the grim scenario I have proposed, I sincerely hope that I am wrong and that RB will somehow be found alive and well. My heart aches for her and her family. This thought exercise, is primarily meant to assist the family in their search. And again everything that I have posted is pure speculation and MOO.

To follow this opinion, I had to go look on the google maps. This makes sense and would place RB on the south side of the river on land. I hope this is property that hunters hunt. Hunters are our best hope right now on land. I think some of this land is currently being searched for another missing man. Thank you for sharing your opinion. We appreciate your kind words too.

Don't you mean the North side of the river?

Road No. 459 is on the North side of the Clark Fork River. I think RB is located somewhere not far off of this road or one of its turnouts. DB would have been in too big a hurry to wander far from his vehicle. I think it would be worthwhile for someone to drive that road before the winter weather arrives, making travel difficult. I know it's easy for me to say, sitting in my living room, 2000 miles away. I wish I were there to help search. I hope you find her soon!
