I have to tip my hat for Angela, big time!!!!..wow, wow....such an intelligent, factual, well-constructed and cohesive presentation. What a wonderful mom and advocate for Rebekah. I heard her sighing a few times....it broke my heart...the whole thing....but she kept her head up. The fight is real and was taken serious, just because she did it like this. Also good contributions from others. Very calm....and professional. IMO this video should go into the books, this could help a lot of others....how this should be done. Also very interesting additional info from both parties. Family, loved ones and the Sheriff Mike Toth. But what a terrible agony......I really hope this is going to have a good turn from now......Rebekah and her loved ones need this IMO.

I noticed that the sheriff said it was getting dark at the time the call came in about Rebekah. Really?

I thought the same thing. There were several issues with some things he said. But as to the "it was getting dark" ... I arrived July 24 and was shocked it stayed light until almost 10:00 pm

Yes it is more than "aquaintance" and that is what Rebekah's mom was conveying when she was pointing out that Sheriff Toth told her he was told Rebekah's dog was in poor health and he heard that from a trusting source. There were only 2 people that would know the health of the dog. Rebekah and DB. This is when Rebekah's mom realized there was a closer than acquaintance relationship between DB and Sheriff Toth.

Regarding Sheriff Toth's comment in the County Commissioner's meeting that the video on Rebekah's phone they are relying on as proof Rebekah was at the east side of Alberton Rock location (and subsequently drowned at) "showed Cerebus playing in the water with a stick" is not accurate.

According to Rebekah's mom, the video of Rebekah and Cerebrus on the RIVERBANK at no time showed Cerberus in the water with a stick. It did appear he had been in the water as his fur was wet. The footage showed that the dog was on the riverbank and bringing a stick to Rebekah. The water is behind the dog and the dog is moving away from the water. Two different versions of the video were shown to the family. The first viewing on August 6, 2021 stopped abruptly before Rebekah praised the dog. After questioning this, the 2nd viewing on September 29th included Rebekah praising the dog.

I found it suspect that the family from Oregon that took the time to call 911 to report Rebekah's personal items on the riverbank didn't stick around for LE to arrive after they made the call. This is not how I remember Deputy Funke explaining the scenario to me and Rebakah's mom the day we met him at the site. I thought Deputy Funke said it was an Oregon family traveling through and that the 20 or 21 year old found the belongings, called 911, and they (LE) questioned the 20 or 21-year-old because that’s who found the belongings. I definitely never heard Deputy Funke say the witness had left the scene by the time law-enforcement arrived. I know Rebekah's mom and I would have had a lot to say about that if he had said that that day.

They must have a phone number and 911 recording for the "Oregon family". After all, 911 centres unblock blocked numbers. No number is anonymous when people phone 911.

I believe they were all contacted prior to the meeting. I will make sure the video of the meeting is sent to them as well.

I received an email reply to my FOIA request for the 911 transcript today. Denied - citing Confidential Criminal Justice Information and a pending investigation. I knew that was coming but I don't agree with their reason for denial based on what I have read regarding 911 calls being public information.
