George's EPass 7/14-7/26:

Used labels (e.g. "Destination A") to make discussing further a bit easier.

Hope it helps.

Great post. I totally agree with this. Early on, I expressed my thought that these folks got together, grieved in privacy for the Caylee they could never get back and then agreed (even without having to orally state their pact) that nothing would be gained by Casey going to jail so their later statements and actions are with one goal in mind: keep Casey out of prison for life. Does it seem odd that Cindy and even George are teary-eyed as they talk about how they think Caylee is alive? No. Their tears are for the granddaughter they know they lost and maybe even tears for having to carry on this charade in order to keep their daughter out of prison. The whole thing is making them emotional (understandably) but they are definitely carrying on with their efforts to keep Casey out of jail and I'm not surprised their efforts are draining and emotional.

This is exactly what I think happened as well. They already know where Caylee is and have grieved. They've cut their losses and have circled the wagons now. Boggy Creek has always interested me, but I have other theories on where she is.

All other things being equal...and not recalling when the following reported sightings of the Pontiac came in (later than 7/18 IIRC):

* Female whose friend's car resembled Casey's Pontiac in Boggy Creek Rd area
* Kropachek (sp?) on Boggy Creek shoulder

Unless someone surfaces a legit alibi for 'destination A', it appears to me that George's toll records may have been a heavily weighted factor in LE/TES' decision to focus so much attention on this area.

Some brainstorming on legit "destination A's" might be interesting:

Things to consider...
1) the visits occurred on a Friday (7/18) and then a week later a Saturday (7/26).
2) the time though the B.C. toll is ~3:20PM on 7/18 and ~7:20PM on 7/26 (error on image 7/26 time).
3) During this stage Casey & fam were having fits & starts w/ visits in jail.

* Were there other atty meetings pre-Baez?
* Other bond arrangements under consideration?
* Place to make/copy flyers?
* Family church/pastor?
* Family friend?

Could also do a radii from the last toll booth using 2hr/2 [in & out travel reqd]=1hr @ an average in-town speed of say, 15mph, to see what falls within a 15mi radius in the northwest section of say, the 270-360 quadrant , yet southeast enough to the toll booth that another route from the G&C's makes the toll route preferred (easy to think...hard to explain that in writing). (George PI: wanna give this a go? based on past work I think you'll know what i'm talkin' bout here)

Ruling legits out might help determine just where 'destination a' falls on the nefarious scale.

Jus' thinking out loud.

The Beeline runs west to east. It goes to Cocoa, Merritt Island from Orlando.
Many times people jump on the Beeline (which is now called the beachline) rather than sitting in traffic. This should help...........Boggy Creek runs from 417 to the Bee Line. BTW - the Beeline is HWY 528 on this map.

See the word "Creek" in the Boggy Creek Road location on this map? This is the exact location of the big dead tree and the eyewitness that was scouting for junk and alleged to have seen Casey coming out of woods carrying a shovel. FYI...

OK...might have been said...I really didn't read all the posts very well....but, somehow I don't think Casey's hiding of Caylee's body was so simplistic after all. She DID say in one of her "pages" (MySpace, etc...can't keep track) that she would be perfect for "Survivor" because she'd win or something to do with her skills at playing the game and her smarts and determination. It might not be so off the mark for her to have gone into some dense area to put Caylee....sort of like a "game" to her....??? Therefore, it wouldn't be so far fetched for Casey to have gone into places, like George has been seen at, instead of the easy "put her in the water" scenario.

This is July 16th, the day after retrieving the car from the impound yard and Cindy tracking down Casey and bringing her home (evening of July 15th).

There's 5 hours between Casey getting home at 7:00am and leaving again with the detectives at noon. I think that sometime during that 5-hour time frame, Casey revealed more to her parents and Lee than they've told publicly.

Two days later, on July 18th, George and Cindy had their first interview with a local news media. In that interview, there were no grieving grandparents pleading for their granddaughter's safe return from her kidnapper. Instead, George and Cindy laid the groundwork for Casey's defense, with lengthy descriptions of Casey using a shovel to clear bamboo shoots, how they kept the shed locked and pool ladder away from the pool when not in use. None of this meant anything to readers at that time, but later, when we learned Casey borrowed a shovel, and we learned about the shed break-in, and the possibility that Caylee drowned, it all came together.

Sometime between Cindy yelling, "It smells like a dead body in the @%$# car" on July 15th, and that interview on July 18th, George, Cindy, and Lee, did a major course change in direction. They went from not knowing what happened to a circle the wagons cover-up. I think they know more, and it may be a case of George knowing more than Cindy and Lee.

If this is true, why would GA say the things he said during his interrogation on July 30? Why would he say things like "I know my daughter is probably going to go away for a long time".. and "I know that smell.. it's distinguishable from a pizza"....

Maybe trying to cover his own behind? He did not call LE when he smelled the car, he took it home. He knew. Did he help dispose? Or did he just help cover up with cleaning?

George wasn't standing off looking into nothingness until right before the last TES search. At the time, he was being told he couldn't set up his board or tents at certain local businesses because of the drama that it drew.

At least that is what GA said, and what the A's would like us to believe. Do I believe that explanation? No, not for one teeny, tiny second. It has come to the point that I simply do not believe anything that comes from their mouths at all with exception to CA's calls to 911 initially, and GA's interviews with LE and the FBI. CA's call to 911 was the only honest statement out of her mouth, and with GA and his FBI/LE videos it is very clear that he's emotional and honest.

Northwest of the exit is almost exclusively industrial and warehousing. That is, once you get past the undeveloped stretch where the "Casey sighting" occurred.

South of the exit there is the Lock Haven Baptist Church and something called the Worship and Praise Center. These are about 1/4 mile from the exit. Other than that it looks like a mixture of housing developments and open land.

But if you have an epass why not just go the quickest way home? Especially when your daughter has just been put in jail,And your grandaughter is missing? I wouldn't think that we want to be taking the "long" way home. Do you not have an epass?

I have an e-pass for Florida even though I don't live there because I am there so often. The surface or feeder roads are not always the long way. Many times they are just as close, but because of traffic I use the toll roads. I despise 417 because of all the toll booths and usually go around and hit I-4 going east but sometimes use it because the traffic is backed up on the roads I normally travel.

FWIW

If I go to Google Maps and ask for directions from the Anthony's to Baez's Kissimmee office, it has me exit the greenway at Boggy Creek. about 30 minutes each way. Baez is about 15 minutes off the exit.

When did they start meeting with him?

It would be easier to go Sand Lake from their house.

So they don't "ticket" people for changing them out?

I guess they have to catch them. I don't know, I have never done that. I called and asked once if I could change it between my SUV and rental cars and they told me no, it had to be in the car I have listed, so I never tried it. I have head others talk about doing it.

Turbo-you know the orlando area right?

I am somewhat (used to live there and am now 40 miles to the east). What are you trying to figure out?

I am wracking my brain for the Boggy Creek connections. TES and LE are interested. Ga swings by the area. Can't remember what day or where GA was spotted staring off into a field. But I'm pretty sure it was where TES was last going to search. Was that Boggy Creek? And I might be just really tired, but I could swear that the car switcharoo happened under the overpass at Boggy Creek. Also, Baez wanted to secret field trips with Casey. Maybe Casey has been sending "clues" out to her peeps about Boggy Creek and they want to take her there. Unfortunately, she was probably yanking their chain.

Yes, TES did search one area of Boggy Creek quite extensively, as DH was on one of the teams that searched. Also adding something I am personally aware of regarding this area: there are a couple of clandestine areas in the Boggy Creek area that are abandoned, that anyone local knows they are abandoned: the old Boggy Creek Golf Course, and an old military housing unit that is no longer used. Hmmmmmm.....imagine how easy it would be to drive a small Pontiac straight down an old golf cart path, to a back wooded area of the old Boggy Creek golf course. And, lots of "spotty" bodies of water throughout that golf course also. I've played at that golf course (about 5 yrs. ago).

Some searchers should look there again...........:behindbar GA/CA

Is Boggy Creek Road a business, residential, commercial, shopping area? What is it like?

Is this where the 2 guys saw the lady with the shovel and the man pretending to fish? That area looked pretty gooey to me.

Is this the area where the woman saw what she thought was her friend's car and a young woman jogging nearby? (she descrived it as an unusual place to see someone out for a run, IIRC)

Boggy Creek Rd. is a commercial area, where there are lots of storage warehouses and companies that utilize the airport for shipping out goods, etc. Some of the major airlines also have offices and warehouses on Boggy Creek. Then there is a bunker area that the Army uses, but the only think I know about that is the surrounding area around the bunker is used for the soldiers to exercise, jog, etc. This IS IN THE SAME area where the guy said he saw someone fishing and the lady with the shovel.

To give you a visual (and I'll try and put a map up):

  • Beeline (Beachline) west to Boggy Creek exit.
  • Take Boggy Creek south in the direction of airport.
  • travel south until you go through the intersection of Boggy Creek and Tradeport.
    Just before you get to South Access Rd. (which is on the south side of airport), on the right hand side of the road (if traveling south), you will see a wooded area. This is the search area. It doesn't look like much ground to cover from a map point of view, but when standing there in front of it, it's actually a pretty big area.
