What's going on with the SWs and ME report? Will these documents become public tomorrow?

I would never ever in a bazillion years have NC over to paint if I knew it was PISSING her husband off, knowing that my friend was not receiving money because of the painting. NO WAY, see I don't know about some of you, but I would never intervene in someone elses marital woes.

I wouldn't meddle in someone's marital woes, but I absolutely would invite my friend over to help paint (for pay) if she was interested in doing that (and she was good at it). Nancy was an adult and was able to make her own decisions. Had there been no marital woes/angry hubby, then helping a friend paint should pose no problem, right? Most husbands would not care either way. So if you were not going to let your friend help you paint for cash because their hub was angry about it and withheld money (and the friend wanted to help you and wanted to earn some cash) wouldn't that (also) be considered interfering in 'marital woes' to make that kind of a decision FOR your friend? It was ultimately Nancy's decision to accept or reject JA's offer. The responsibility was not on JA to know whether (and when) to extend an offer to her friend (or not).

The SWs are due to be unsealed tomorrow. The ME report is not 'sealed' and is not part of the SWs. However, the autopsy report may not yet be complete.

Perhaps NC REALLY went for a run and decided she would paint later that day or not at all as it was clearly causing tension in their relationship. Maybe she was going to call JA to cancel when she returned. We really don't know.

We know the crime wasn't random (as said twice by CPD chief).

We know Nancy was NEVER SEEN AGAIN after midnight Fri 7/11.

We know Nancy confirmed with JA as of 10:30pm Fri night that they would be painting that Saturday morning and we know that JA received no notice as to any change in those plans.

We will soon know a lot more, but what we know so far indicates that Nancy never went running that Sat. morning.

Reddress!!!!! RING A DING DING DING DING!!!!

Greetings from Fig 8 Island, hope all are enjoying the long weekend, I know I am!

Redress---the painting, yes, you got it, it was the painting. War was on due to painting. See, I view JA as a good friend but also as a meddlesome one too. I would never ever in a bazillion years have NC over to paint if I knew it was PISSING her husband off, knowing that my friend was not receiving money because of the painting. NO WAY, see I don't know about some of you, but I would never intervene in someone elses marital woes.
...and thank heavans Nancy had a "meddlesome" friend! I hope all of mine would be the same.

To my mind, Jessica is a hero. She's a strong, caring woman. IMO she was not meddling at all. She's been a long time, loyal friend to Nancy, and still holds those feelings. Yay, Jessica!!! :)

Legally I think they'll be able to make the premeditation argument because (as I learned from some case a long, long time ago), premeditation can happen in literally seconds before the person is killed. It's the knowledge of what the perp is doing could result in death, will result in death if they carry out the act(s), and they continue to go forward and do it. That 'decision' to continue with the act is where premeditation occurs.

As for preplanning the crime...that's a tougher one. I do think he was stewing over things in that 90 min before she got home. However, I can't make any conclusion about this element of the crime without knowing COD and reading the autopsy report.

SG....This is exactly what I have understood that determines the difference.
That is why I'm trying to decide pre-med or not. Was it one swift knock over the head or strangulation/suffication? I am leaning on pre-med with strangulation.

He lost his apples after the BBQ, didn't sleep on it, but waited up to confront her again when she got back home. He was furious with her correcting him publicly.

Affidavit...HP#14..no doubt in my mind Nancy went home at midnight, got in a fight with Brad and he killed her.

He was already furious about her finding ways to make extra money, but something pushed him over the edge that night.

Also I want to add about early morning disposing of NC.....
After seeing a house crew working on a new home yesterday, on a Sunday, a weekend holiday, I still lean to my opinion some workers were working on a home Saturday July 12th. The murder was very early morning like HP put in her affidavit. What I mean, is I don't think he would have dumped her body at say 7-9am if there were people around building on a new home.

The day after the crime scene tape was taken down I went over to pay respects?, as awful as it is to say, but where her body was last seen. Anyway, a dump truck was continually at the entrance of the cul-de-sac backing into the area where rec center is going to be built. This truck would have seen a white sedan.

If LE can put together BC went to locate a site 1st...how much better to get him on pre-med???? Let's hope they can.

Correct Star! There was no meddling on JA part at all. NC was a grown woman, she wanted/needed extra money. She must have enjoyed painting, because she did her own to get the house prepared to sell.
Loyal yes, meddling NO.

The meaning of meddling - intrusive in a meddling or offensive manner; "an interfering old woman"; "bustling about self-importantly making an officious nuisance of himself"; "busy about other people's business"

As to the "meddlesome" description used for JA, I think the poster was being a little tongue-in-cheek. JA must have known much more than we to have made that phone call to the Cary PD. She probably knew about the relationship between Brad and Nancy on a deeper level, probably knew how it was with B&N right up until the weekend that she was murdered. JA knew that something was wrong on many levels. But I suppose that's all re-hash.

Chauncey, you are on Figure 8 Island? How nice. Let us know if John Edwards has his lady friend and new baby in a secret cottage on the island:Banane59: If I were John's wife, Eliz. I'd be looking for a "microscopic owl" to do a job :shocked2::gavel: on that good 'ol boy. (Adding that John Edwards has a place on Fig.8 and has been said to have been in "seclusion" out there. Like he would go unnoticed, ha ha).

If you search for the picture of the running medal, you can figure out which race it is from, and therefore, probably which friend left it.

ETA: It's probably from one of her friends who ran the R&R yesterday. Wow. Powerful.

Will it have something written on the back as to date or what race? I know I saw runners on it.

I have a question which I am sure will have different answers, but this is a 1st for many of us, such as a body site to serve as a memorial site....

Is it right to touch an item on a memorial site? Is this considered personal and to be left alone vs. something to look at as a token of love from one person to another and by all means look at it and read it?

My husband was with me yesterday and said to leave it alone. I think of it as an item to be able to be touched and looked at, like at a memorial service being held at a church where you can see who left it. During visitation hours the cards are exposed to read, photo's to be looked at and touched, etc.

Thankfully she had the sense to "know" something was wrong and called authorities. Meddlesome, no - caring and smart enough to address trouble head on.

Reddress, RKAB has been posting very interesting tidbits about her ex-"boyfriend", Brad Cooper. It's worth it to find all her posts and read them now. (I hope you are here, RKAB, because I need to PM you...).

I wish RKAB would get online so we could have an "Interview with RKAB about Brad Cooper as a Boyfriend". We need to learn more about how he treats women, from someone who should know.

RKAB is interested in keeping herself safe and as anonymous as she can. I'd love a question/answer session with her. Like: HOW did he act when he had simmered a while, then exploded? HOW was he controlling, if he was with you, RKAB? Tell us about his mom, dad, family.

I know his dad is vice pres of something at a Medicine Hat Community College. I saw a photo of Brad's dad there. Looks like Brad got his hairline from his dad.

Any and all trivia is welcomed, RKAB. I hope you will make an appearance.:praying:

OK, I'll be the prosecuter. (I got my law degree at KMart, BTW).

In order to add another link to possible pre-meditated murder I will call in RKAB, noted poster on WSleuths. RKAB has told us that she once was BC's "girlfriend" in the past. SHE broke up with him. She has many posts that are telling of how he was before he married NC. She has said that BC would be an emotional roller coaster type of guy, which was the main reason RKAB had for breaking off with him. She said he's the type to stew over something for a long time and then explode.

So, I say (since I'm the prosecuter) let's call RKAB in on this case and see what she has to add to the mix. I'll be sure to ask RKAB to describe all of BC's emotional tirades. Did he threaten, become physical, threaten suicide, ever abuse alcohol or other drugs? What was the family dynamic at BC's home, since RKAB knows about this, having known his family.

OK. I'm done with being a lawyer. I don't like it. I'll stick to my other profession.

Here's another strange thing: SOMEWHERE in all the media I read that BC's brother's wife had never met Nancy. I've seen it several times. This is strange to me. BC's brother came down here to Cary to be with Brad for a bit, right?

RKAB, I wonder if you know about that situation?

Poor RKAB, I know you don't want involvement in this, but what a fine "character" witness you'd make.

i think nancy had wonderful friends who were and still are heroes.
the painting jobs were a way to get money into nancy's hands. the painting money fed nancy and her girls.

it was not "meddlesome." it was way for nancy to feel as though she earned it (which she did). it wasn't charity.

JA had the courage to call 911 - i'm sure it was a difficult call to make.

if nancy's killer struck her from behind with an object that belonged to nancy (a scenario mentioned by the forensic astrologer and others) or had special meaning to her, what could be that object?

1. a statue or figurine in the foyer
2. something that brad and nancy had fought over in the division of property
3. an art object that brad felt nancy had spent to much money on
4. sports equipment - small barbell
5. a baseball bat that nancy kept in the girls' bedroom with her as prection against brad
6. sports trophy - nancy's or brads

7. an object of brad's that nancy never liked
8. an object bought for brad by one of his mistresses
9. an object that nancy's mystery man or any former boyfriends bought for her

would nancy's friends or family know whether any objects were missing from the house?

i read through RKAB past posts last night and found them compelling.
i am glad she survived being involved w/ brad cooper.
the description of brad and his parents sounded very much like jason young.

the key to stopping spousal murders may be to get these guys diagnosed by psychiatrists and on medication for their chemical imbalances (ie. bipolar, depression, etc).

the forensic astrologer also spoke of a second man being involved.

is it possible that brad hit nancy on the head or try to strangle her but that she was unconscious or severely wounded but not dead? brad had an accomplice pick up nancy and take her to the construction site to finish her off.

brad could have instructed him to make it look like a different kind of crime had happened (a sexual assault).

Under "Runners Premiums"...I don't know how to post a picture

http://www.rnrvb.com/race_info.html

I know it was round. It had 3 or 4 runners on the front of it. It was on a wide red, white and blue ribbon.

If I can't find out where it is from, maybe someone else who gets to go by the site can look at it to see if they can figure it out.

At first I did not see it draped over the wreath, but someone to part with their premium? is surely a friend in my eyes!
