Yeah you are right!!! I should know!!! I guess I am leaning more towards the "no" to the addiction at this point. I had a few minutes to ponder and I just don't see it now.

Myself I think she was hooked on xanax and detoxed when she was in the first time..I think she smokes also but never did it around home. There were a couple times that LA was suppose to visit and KC cancelled because she was ill.

B/c taking drugs does not equal addicted. I understand if you've never tried pot or shrooms before, you think they are EVIL and mean a person is w/o morals and an addict. My g'parents think if you have a beer, you are a drunk. I understand, I'm not criticizing, I'm just pointing out, you can't a) get addicted to pot or shrooms and using it here/there or even more here than there doesn't mean anything much more than you are an apathetic user/loser.

Well, I don't do drugs but I certainly don't think that everyone who does is evil!! Not in any way! A person is not evil for their recreational choices.

I have a family member addicted to rx drugs and it isn't just a little sick, cancel a visit type of sick when he can't have his meds. It's lying on the floor puking, etc. for weeks. jmo fyi and all that jazz.

Keep in mind, NO ONE has ever mentioned anything hard in reference to her drug use. JMO but it woulda come out by now, fer sure.

There are some people that think she had a meth or benzo addiction. That is what I was refering to. She smoked pot, her friends admitted to that... that's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned though... it's weed, it won't make you kill your kid LOL

Oh? She was? I missed that part. Was she really "ill" though or just claiming to be ill to avoid meeting with LA? But with all the speculation on "zanny" "zani" xanax...Whatever. It could be. *sigh* I just don't know anymore!!!!

Does anyone know if Klonopin is as addictive as Xanax? I take that and if I miss once I feel a bit anxious (more than normal) but I have no withdrawls or anything....Well, I thought I did once. I was out and I was so anxious, I thought I was going to die. It was actually sort of traumatic but I never got "ill" per say. My condition just got worse.

I take Klonopin, never had any w/drawl symptoms, usually I'll go as long as I can between doses so I can save them up for bad days, or sleep helper if I run out of my other meds. BUT, if I miss my Zoloft or Seroquel, I do get a bit messed up after 5 or so days. Never physically ill though. OH, this isn't all about me?!:crazy:

Do you have a link for this info? When she refused the visitations it was because she didn't want to see her family and it was toward the end of her stay. If she were detoxing from Benzo's it would have been when she first got to jail. I'd like to see a link stating she was ill as I have not heard that.

Benzo withdrawl is an awful, painful thing that can kill a person if not done correctly. She would have been in the medical facility going through detox.. When she was in court her withdrawl symptoms would have been visable to all.

LOL! I have really bad anxity though. Like SUPER bad!! I get panic attacks almost in any given situation so if I am out of Klonopin, my anxiety probably gets bad just because I know that I am out and I no longer have my "crutch." I hate to call it that, but it has been a life saver. I couldn't even go into a CVS without running out in a panic at one point. I'm better now, but no where near "normal." Probably never will be....

I am not sure why they would expect him to smell anything anyway. he would have hooked up to the car from the frontend and depending on the equipment that they have, he might not have even needed to touch the car or get that close to it.

When he dropped it in the yard, he would have probably backing it into a spot and dropped it off the truck.

He hooked up from the back. I thought the car was backed in, but it was nosed in. Here is part of his interview on hook up and smell.


GR: They reported they had a car on the side. I had the private property removal
2 sheet filled out. They signed off on it. The car itself was parked next to the

5 GR: Near there, nosed in.

7 GR: Being a front wheel drive car I checked to see if it was unlocked because
8 sometimes you can put them in neutral. and move them, but it was locked.

10 GR: So I hooked up to the rear and I had the sling dollies, which is basically the small
11 wheels with the rack so you don't have to pull on the drive axle. And I just put
12 the domes in the front, on the front wheels, because I hooked up from the rear.

14 the car. The only thing I did, I did notice that stood out in my mind was a child
15 seat in the backseat.

I'm not sure, I think my daughter is or was on Klonopin. I take vicadin for my back pain and I know in the past when I have stopped taking it I get pretty anxious for about a week but I never became ill. I know, this case has so much going on in it my brain gets cramps...LOL

Sorry, very quick OT, ask your shrink about Seroquel, changed my life. I have panic/anxiety disorder, didn't drive for 5 yrs, and I'm like a new person!

It is just as addictive. The withdrawl symptoms are not always what one expects from typical "drug" withdrawl. It is often the case that your symptoms will come back 100 times worse then ever before.. you become filled with anger, anxiety, nervousness, paranoia..

Klonopin has a very long half life.. (Going on my memory and without looking it up- I will look it up though if you want me to) it is something like 35 hours so the symptoms of withdrawl would come on slow.

You are not the only one! But yeah. I did get really anxious but I'm not sure that would be considered a withdrawl symptom...IDK. I just know that when I was out for a couple weeks it was hell. I remember sitting in my psychs office in the waiting room just fanning myself and being so uncomfortable that I thought I was seconds from passing out. It was awful but that may have been in my own head. Not sure. Lots of things are. LOL

No, she is not going to use any money "given" to her. Casey is more comfortable using money that is stolen. We've seen that in the Target video.

me too, Seroquel... life saver.. totally! I only take it PRN now for suicidal ideation and to kill mania's.. it is a wonder drug and I'd be dead without it!

OMG yeah that was totally me. I couldn't breathe literally for almost two weeks. I was a basket case! And I can feel it. I get to a point during the day where I know its just "time" to take it. Without it, I am really bad. With it, I am a lot better. Not 100% but better. I actually had to ask for my doc to up my dose. He had me on like .25 mgs. Ok. Whats that going to do? LOL!! So now I'm on 1 mg and I still almost always end up needing to take 2 a day.
