Nancy Grace 18 Aug 2008 - Let's Discuss

It doesn't even seem as if he has the basic facts of the case!!! I must admit, though - he keeps it together in the face of folks making obvious fun of him.

He's going to get money off this. If he can get her on film and even have her on his show for a second, ppl will flock to watch it and see what she was doing during that time. He's also getting attention.

Well its obvious he will get attention, Anyone who steps in this case gets attention. I didnt see anyone talking crap about TonEs roomate for going on Greta, you better bet he got paid....Is TonEs roomate searching for Caylee i doubt it.

I think those first few phone calls showed the real Casey. At least the way she dealt with her mom. She gets mad and "pissy" when confronted and when people don't do exactly what she wants. Once she really realized she was being recorded and the calls were being released to the public - her demeanor changed on purpose.
I agree. The first call reeked of sarcasm toward her mother. I can't see why Cindy puts up with it. I know I never would've gotten away with that "tone" with my mother!

Yea, but you know what...he didn't ask to be in the spotlight. Padilla did. I think Tony's roommate did a great job of just sticking to telling what he knew and that's all. He seems very articulate for someone his age too.

Sorry - what I meant was he didn't ask to be brought into this case. He chose to do the interview yes, but I am sure he has been hounded alot.

I also think Clint said he doesn't live there anymore and went back to school someplace else.

armed men to watch her per the ticker on bottom of screen

wow, if the neighbors are bothered by press, I'm sure they will LOVE this!!! She's not only screwing up her child, brother mom and dad but the WHOLE darn neighborhood!

Yes he did. I think he and Tony were smart to cut Casey off immediately and stay out of this as much as possible. I think they are truly shocked and just don't want to be a part of this mess.

He may have been paid for that. I doubt he will make any substantial money off this case. Your yahoo cowboy will be trying to write books and get her on camera to make his ratings go up on his new show. This guy doesn't even have the facts down (nor did his other investigator that Shep interviewed today). If he cared, he would know the facts like we all do.

ETA: I don't see CH trying to get on tv every night either. I think he just wanted to tell his side so they would stop hounding him and he could get out of dodge. No one wants to talk about her because they are all embarrassed to be associated with her.

Tony's roommate went on to disclose the first hand info he had about Casey AND her behavior at the time Caylee first went missing.

You expect all these kids to put their lives on hold to chase down the LIES Casey is providing to LE and her own family?

Even her own brother has told her that NOTHING she said is checking out.... I believe they're still waiting for that letter Casey was supposed to write... the one with new clues. Such a busy girl... she never has time to get to the little things.

I disagree, but not in an argumentative way :)

This is also a very distinct trait of people on certain drugs. Unfortunately, all my high school friends got hooked on drugs, so I know the eyes too well. But if you notice, the friend has red eyes too, just they are dark brown so not as noticable. Maybe its the camera, but when I saw her doing the court house "strut" and grinding her teeth and she smirked at the camera, I deemed her on drugs right then. I really don't like her so maybe I am being too hard on her.

I noticed the same things you did in the court house, and it sure looked to me that drugs where involved.

So someone who has experience in finding people(what he does for a living). And has also assisted in 2 other missing child cases deserves to be treated like this because he came to help. I mean you guys must think he is getting Casey out so she can party. The fact is there is a girl missing and we dont know for a fact she is dead. And he aint the only one who thinks she is alive. Some of you guys are just throwing this guy to the wolves and not even acknowledging he has experience in finding people. Give him a chance, its worth a shot.

But if that was his objective - couldn't he search for Caylee without getting Casey out of jail? Why go on every media outlet he can find too.

You do realize this is the 3rd missing child case he has worked? If im not mistaken the first 2 didnt get national attention, so i find it hard to believe he is doing this for JUST for the attention. Riding what gravy train?

Which cases were they and did he find the children?

Ok number one i never said everybody who knows Casey has to be searching for her.

I have nothing against the roommate, just stating a fact that he got paid to tell people things about Casey.

Just using him in contrast to Padilla.

One was found, Other was found Dead. Dont know which cases. Like i said wasnt on national tv soaking up attention over them.

Because he is searching for a Living girl and needs to talk to the last person who has seen her....Like i said before...i dont think Caylee is alive, i hope i am wrong but there is nothing wrong with him thinking she is alive. We cant prove one way or another yet anyway.

How do you know he got paid to do the interview? Usually they don't pay for interviews but will pay for pics..which he didn't provide.

I don't think he's getting her out to party and I doubt anyone else does either. It's obvious he does not know much about this case. Him and Tony have admitted to that. All they have to do is read the factual links we have here. I KNOW Tony knows his way here.

He's a self proclaimed "Media 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬" and says this is a win win situation whether he gets an answer from Casey or not. Whether he gets Casey bailed out or not. He's got a TV show. What does that tell you?

Leonard states that he can't believe that a mother would kill her three year old. Does that sound like someone who has vast experience with criminals? Criminal Knowledge 101-Parents kill their kids...all the time.
