But if that was his objective - couldn't he search for Caylee without getting Casey out of jail? Why go on every media outlet he can find too.

Just from an objective POV, there are two possiblities here. Caylee is alive and has been hidden away with a real person who may be watching the news. Or she's not and there is possibly someone out there who may have information that could lead to her recovery. This man obviously has money to burn. If there is either a ransom or a reward to be paid, he could probably arrange it. But first he would have to make it known, through whatever channels were available, that it was a possibility.
IMO, he knows that Casey probably won't talk, but someone else might. The goal is to find this child.
BTW, she's not out yet.

Yes he did. I think he and Tony were smart to cut Casey off immediately and stay out of this as much as possible. I think they are truly shocked and just don't want to be a part of this mess.
well especially because he was under suspicion because of it..i am sure they all were questioned but he would be even more so..
I have faith in him because he did coperate and then cut her off.
I think it says he wont have anything to do with a liar and possibly a murderer.

Lol, I never said anything about money. But the media attention and free advertising would lead to money yes. Here's my link. Oh by the way, I love how he says after he gets his media exposure, he might be able to learn of Caylee's wherabouts. Media exposure first, Caylee second. Here is the link you requested.

(snip)
Sacramento bounty hunter Leonard Padilla calls himself a media 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, and says coming to Orlando could be a win-win situation. In addition to getting national media exposure, he says he might even be able learn Caylee Anthony’s whereabouts.

Would somebody tell me why Caylee's grandparents or at least their new spokesman isn't OBJECTING strenuously with this revolting turn of events!

Does this mean that they're ok if the focus is on the MEDIA COVERAGE w/ Caylee as the afterthought? Isn't this EVERYTHING Cindy has been claiming is HURTING their chances to find Caylee???

How many days will the focus being on freeing Casey in the hopes that maybe, possibly she might happen to be in the mood to stop lying & telling LE what they need to know to FIND CAYLEE??!!!!!

Earth to Cindy.... earth to Cindy..... what happened to IT'S ALL ABOUT CAYLEE?

Does anyone think it is strange that Casey had several sets of clothes for Caylee in the car and in the trunk of the car??
What i mean is why would anyone have a lot of kids clothes with them to drop off their kid with the babysitter for the day? I can see it if its for a week?
But what is more curious is if the babysitter took Caylee or if Casey passed her off to someone, why wouldnt she give them those clothes?

I think that kinda points to her not having passed Caylee off at all??
Why would the babysitter take th car seat but not the clothes???

It doesnt add up to have that many clothes in the car for a short outting imo.
I do know with kids u take extra's but that is alot of extra's.
It is Cindy who said she washed the clothes from the trunk and several other sets of clothing of Caylee's.

Someone said there is zero tangible evidence that Caylee is dead, but she is the only one missing. The detective testified in court that he did smell decomposing flesh. That has to mean something. There's been no credible sightings of Caylee and no informants have come forward about any compelling reason for all this. Leonard says that Cindy "jacked" Casey by calling police. No one is going to get to the bottom of all this and the tests on the vehicle and soil are going to be the only answer. Poor Caylee. She's the one who's been jacked.

Yeah, well we always knew poor Casey was just a victim....

if her mother didn't call 911, she'd probably have concluded her "investigation" already & wouldn't be sitting in jail "protecting her whole family."

Oh wait.... she finished the investigation BEFORE she started it.

Nevermind.

IIRC, it was a full-sized car seat, not a booster type seat. Way back in the days when I had a babysitter, if my dd was asleep in the car seat, sometimes it was wiser to unhook the car seat, carry both in to the babysitter, and not wake the sleeping child. One of my girls was quite miserable for the rest of the day if she didn't get a good nap.

It was a full size Eddie Bauer car seat..I have the same one.

The car seat was left in the car.

Is it a FACT that there were extra clothes for Caylee?

If so, it's possible they were taken only as a cover-up.... after all, the story was that Casey was moving out w/ Caylee so they could do some mother-daughter bonding for a while.

Without knowing WHEN Caylee 'vanished' it's hard to piece together what Casey might have done as a cover-up.

Edit to add: It's also possible some of Caylee's clothes accumulated in the car because Casey was too lazy to bring in inside to wash. With little kids, it's not unusual to have an extra set of clothes with you in case they get wet or dirty.

well cindy said it and it is in one of the threads here..i wouldnt have wrtten it if it wasnt true - it came up with the washing of all the clothes-not just the ones that were smelling of death.

i also wrote that it is usual to take extra with kids
but it was said that it was 6 pairs of clothes
and
the media do not even know what happened to the car seat
it was brot up tonight on this show..so how is it that u know this?

Just my take on The Toothpick Cowboy for what it's worth...<LOL>

I would not put much stock in a guy wearing a BLACK hat, BLACK vest and BLACK suitcoat in the FL humidity and heat...he won't get far in his search for errr "Stacy, the little girl, the baby"...my ears might have betrayed me but sure sounds like he used all those on NG tonight.

I would much rather just give a shout out to the Orlando Sentinel searchers out there DOING something constructive in proper Florida attire!

Even though the blogger/searchers have taken some criticism, they are alerting the police first, being very careful it seems...the police do not usually have the manpower to be everywhere so my heroes are the bloggers!
