Yes, Casey named someone with the same first and last name as the kidnapper, but Casey specifically says 'hyphen Fernandez' and does not ID this ZG from photographs.

I just don't see how she has a case.

My thoughts excatly, I bet this is what the defense is gonna be, casey never picked her out of the lineup so casey never named this particular Zanedia

OK, she filed a defamation lawsuit, where is she going to get anything from KC, that psycho has no funds.

She can attach the $2 per day that KC will earn for the next 20 years. And, all the Target dresses.

Don't know. She's on myspace. Haven't heard about any other internet references but it's possible.

Yes, I think it's possible if she and Casey crossed paths, it could've been there but I still find it odd that this woman has 6 kids, and Casey adamently tells LE the ZFG who was her "nanny" doesn't have any kids. In other words, I think that even if Casey had seen her at the tattoo shop and overheard a conversation, kids would be mentioned to whoever ZG was talking to. :waitasec:

And this is why I don't think ZG stands much of a chance in her lawsuit.

Is there proof that she lost her job because of her connection (none other than having the same first and last name and having visited Sawgrass one time) to this case?

I mean is her boss going to testify that he fired her because of that? I just don't buy it.


Edited: I just don't think there is proof that Casey was targeting this ZG. I think she had the misfortune of having the name that Casey picked. She went to school with someone with the name Z and two families with the name G live on Hope Spring. I don't think it would have made any difference to Casey's story whether a ZG was linked to Sawgrass or not.

John Morgan..........this lawsuit isn't about money, it's defamation, clearing her name. Rumors of movie deals, etc. Magazines approached to receive money (alluding to the Anthony family). ZG has received death threats and has had health problems. Susan Smith played race card naming a black man, and Casey has too, naming a woman who's Puerto Rican.

I say "You go, Girl!!!" to Zanaida! :clap:

I heard that too...also a lein on anything she earns while trying to profit by selling her story about her murdered daughter.
