I hope that somehow this all becomes clear during the trial if not before. If Casey saw the guest card why did she say Z had no children? Why did Casey insist the name was ZFG when the card said only ZG? Why did she describe Z's car as a new Ford Focus when it's really an older Kia? Why did she go to so much trouble to set Z up and then say it wasn't her?

Me thinks KC invents folks with 'pieces' of people she really knows...

LE prolly can't catch "bad guys" that don't exist.

..and KC first reseached ZG in 10/07

That's not true. The cookie that resulted from the search was placed into a file that was created on 10/07. That is not the date of the search.

He said that last night, I think, that Casey was driving TL's jeep with NY plates on it, on 6/17 and she was at Sawgrass that day.

From the CS interview also. Kc Stopped by on either 17th,18th or 19th to just say hi, was there one and half to two hrs. driving green jeep with ny tags

I think so too..

We're all racking are brains trying to figure it out & it's probably something as simple as that!

I noticed in one of ZG pictures she had her fingernails done. Remember how Casey wanted her fingernails done?

She could have overheard her at the nail salon. I know women talk a lot in the one where I go. I have heard them discussing their kids, their husbands, their boyfriends, their job, etc........Casey may have even engaged her in a conversation............ Sometimes, if there are two together, I just want to say SHUT UP. LOL

Thanks for clearing that up.

Or, perhaps one of those "Orlando's Finest" that she was "servicing" looked up ZG on the DAVID system from her license plate which Casey wrote down. From there, Casey looked her up on MySpace...just a theory.

Since KC is an opportunistic fraud I was thinking maybe she obtained the name searching for info from Sawgrass a while back somehow trying to get information for an identity theft scheme. Maybe the name ZG just kinda stood out?

How did she come acrross..ZG...did she seem upset still? Does her laywer seem like he will be good for her?

Drained is a better word to describe ZG, and telling the truth. And, yes, the atty looks like he's gonna be great.

No difference btwn "person of interest" and "prime suspect"
Especially when you're the only one that's been named "anything" in this whole mess!

If Casey first started researching the ZG name 10/07, it possibly was because Cindy was getting tired of hearing her name and may have been jealous or made that Casey was using someone else to babysit. and wanted to know more about this Zanny..then the death of Caylee..so Casey had to put the blame on someone and who else but ZG..because she had thrown that name out before

True. But, she's also the only ZFG in the area, and the one from the Sawgrass.
I know. I just don't think Casey knew as much about her as she pretended to when she was interrogated by LE. MOO

And this is why I don't think ZG stands much of a chance in her lawsuit.

Is there proof that she lost her job because of her connection (none other than having the same first and last name and having visited Sawgrass one time) to this case?

I mean is her boss going to testify that he fired her because of that? I just don't buy it.

Edited: I just don't think there is proof that Casey was targeting this ZG. I think she had the misfortune of having the name that Casey picked. She went to school with someone with the name Z and two families with the name G live on Hope Spring. I don't think it would have made any difference to Casey's story whether a ZG was linked to Sawgrass or not.

It isn't that simple to totally dismiss, even if it's a difficult case to prove. The law of defamation is pretty complicated in ways. There have even been successful cases of group libel, and I could see ZG proving she was in the small group of ZG's in Orlahndo who people reasonably could have thought less of after the kidnapping accusation. I don't see it as such a frivolous claim that it shouldn't be filed, and I'm not big on filing frivolous lawsuits.

I thought it was determined that it was not possible to know if she searched earlier because the file was created in 2007..but I thought there was another file as well? ..
Dont answer that..Ill go back to the appropriate thread and look..

Doesn't look like the publicity-mad woman that some folks on these threads think she is.
I think she was scared to death, and sought legal help after LE met with her. I would do the same if I were in her shoes. I don't think she wanted to be thrust into the middle of a murder case.

I really feel sorry for the woman. No one needs something like this! And now she'll have to be in court, all thanks to Casey.

Because she was not at the time a "public figure", she would be entitled to compensation according to the attorney's I have discussed this with recently.

There is nothing to gain monetarily unless CA homeowners would pay (most likely not for an adult child or they could tie CA into it)

He didn't sound like he was a 'defense witness' when he was describing the evidence. MOO

He sure didn't, did he?

Methinks his KC dream may not have come true!
