Now I remember what I liked so much about Court TV. Jean was always so calm and soothing. NG was A LOT calmer back then. The show is much more coherent (even though I am super tired and LP is more crazy sounding than usual!!).

What a stupid law, that allows a lawyer, anyone, to leave a child laying out in the woods, to protect thier murdering mother, cause you know she is not gonna talk....so while evryone is out frantically searching a laywer and his cronies can know where the body is and not have to say a word, what a crock -o- caca

Not just anyone, only the lawyer and those he hires for the case. The reason for this is because you are supposed to be able to tell your lawyer the truth about anything so that they can properly advise you of your rights and the route to take. If you can't trust your own lawyer, then there are big problems. You have to especially consider cases where the lawyer is ineffective and gets removed from the case (as Jose should be although I have to admit that I love that her attorney is an idiot)or they decide they can't work together, then he could go tell anyone whatever he wants. IF the child were still alive and in danger, I believe that there are things that can be done, but to be honest, I know of no case where that happened, so I am not sure. But the eyes of the law are funny sometimes. I helped on a case once where in that state (can't remember which but will look and edit) anything done to a person after they died didn't count. The reasoning was that the person suffered no mental trauma from it so it didn't warrant charges. I believe the body was raped after the murder.

Correct. Anything that she tells him or he passes on to others is privileged but absolutely not they are not allowed to move or touch anything, even if they go there and see it. That would be accessory after the fact, interfering, etc...

Edited to say by "others" I mean the people he hires.

I thought even by going and *knowing* you were potentially walking through a crime scene it was interference because you may be destroying evidence by tromping around? Much different than someone who is searching on behalf of LE and stops when they become aware they maybe in a crime scene.

If all this LP stuff is true, about the PI - JH video, note that LP was actively searching JBP with divers around Nov. 10-15 when the PI supposedly filmed the site where Caylee's remains was eventually found. If LP knew all of this about the PI knowing Caylee was dead then why was LP searching JBP and intended to go back to JBP in the New year?

Why wasn't LP searching this crime scene area -- is this LP fluff or, if legit -- has LP dug this up recently and is inserting himself into it?

I think LP did go to the 'area' but like everyone else missed the exact spot.

from MR..........did LE find a board? was it a shrine that fell down with stuff on it........MR said something did not look right...............


ahhhhhhhhhh, still no funeral date.........

probably not a shrine, imo, but a marker, so she wouldn't have to go looking if she wanted to go back to the scene of the crime?
