Regarding the car of A & T being towed, wouldn’t we have pictures of this from the media? I can imagine they’re staked out near the daughter’s house as well, especially considering we have pictures of the FBI there. Just taking Banfields comment about car lightly. JMO
There are some pix of the car(s) on Daily Mail but didn't know if they could be brought over or not...

if the story is true, and SG is leaking it through AB, i hope they both realize that's bad for the investigation, and ultimately bad for NG.
I don't see SG leaking anything to anyone.

The last thing I would be thinking about if my dear mother was missing would be covering my face.
On the other hand, I would be so royally pissed off if my mother was missing and people were trying to get paparazzi shots that I'd absolutely be covering my face and probably lashing out on top of that.

I do think someone in the family is involved, but that doesn't mean everyone is. What an awful time for those who truly didn't have anything to do with it.

Thinking of the family and hoping I'm wrong about an inside actor. The situation is bad enough without that element.

I don't live alone, but when someone knocks on the door when I am alone, I shout, "TOM! Someone is at the door!" to give the impression a man is in the house. I also have done that outdoors when I felt like a creep was creeping me - I shouted and waved to nobody in the distance, "TOM! I'm here - I'll be right there!" or something like that - use a big voice even it you feel like a fool.

Disclosure: Tom is my cat's name.

I am going to have to remember this one.
Now.... I have to come up with a good name.

This is my thought when I first saw them trying to hide their faces. Why would they do that?

At this point, I’d be more curious to hear from the people - who are not Annie and Tommaso - who last saw NG, and what time. People who saw her before she departed with Annie/Tomasso. Was Nancy her usual self? Did she seem reluctant to leave the gathering?

Of course they can. You just need to include a link to the source.

I had forgotten that nugget, I think it was from a banned source at the time but now it seems like it could be accurate information. The excuse that he went back to check on her is both weak and implicates him.

LE must have a reason not to have arrested him already if that's really his story, because it's a painfully rubbish tale.

Do they think he has her alive somewhere and are hoping to follow him to where she is?

Oh please be alive, Nancy! Please be found!

Are we truly sure that this IS a fact???
. The excuse that he went back to check on her

I would truly appreciate it if someone could give the source of this one.

All I remembered was that it was the daughter who was last to see her (even though I could easily assume they both might have been in the car to take her home)

But from where do we get the.... He WENT BACK to check on her.

This is really confusing me a lot.

If an insider killed NG they may have moved the body from the home or killed her away from the home to try to make it seem like it was a stranger killing/abduction. JMO.

…Connie Cohn had not known that she lived next door to Savannah’s sister and Ms. Guthrie’s older daughter, Annie Guthrie. On Wednesday, as police officers and journalists canvassed the street near her house in north Tucson, Ms. Cohn peered out her window and wondered what the commotion was about.

She was saddened to learn that the home next door was one of the last places Ms. Guthrie had been seen.

On Saturday evening, Ms. Guthrie had dinner there with Annie Guthrie and her husband, Sheriff Nanos said. About 9:45 p.m., Ms. Guthrie’s son-in-law dropped her off at her home a few miles away and made sure she made it inside safely, the sheriff said…

This is Annie and her husband photographed for the first time since it all happened.
They are covering their faces like they have something to hide, this is not normal behaviour for grieving family members IMO.
Very strange to me.

I think I agree with you. Of course we can never know how we would react in any crisis situation, but one would think shock would be the prevailing emotion... shock and terror?

Absolutely. The media is relentless with high profile cases and I don't care if i"m a suspect or not-I want my privacy and not have to deal with invasive and intrusive questions and prodding into my life.

I've been searching all morning looking for something other then ABanfield, not saying I don't believe her but looking for other sources would be helpful. I'm waiting to hear "they found blood in the car" or something like that at this point. IMO
unless someone has video of car being towed going to have to consider that a rumor.

I imagine that anything SG said on any given day on the Today Show has the potential to send an unemployed (able) key board warrior into a fit.

But... the miffed keyboarder then retaliates not by the SOP- sending an expletive laden email to the Show, but by kidnapping SG's mother? Like yourself, I just don't see it.

The factor in the Olympian social dynamics: This is still pre Olympics, so SG could not have been perceived as 'dissing the hometown hero with a medal.

Even with medals, the Olympics have been in a slow decline for decades. Sure, there are plenty of fans out there. But, over all interest has still declined and fewer people see successful Olympians as national figures, hometown super heroes, or personal idols.

Though it just takes one person who does have those views to meltdown and act on them in an extreme way, I share your opinion in that, while its possible, it just does not seem very likely.
Bbm.
Agreed.
Doubt this has anything to do with SG on the show or airing her opinion which at the end of the day is just her take on it.
Protesting by the unemployed(able) against the Today Show or even engaging by kicking a vehicle's tail lights does not equate to going to the extreme of kidnapping, even though the msm media would have people believing this by suggesting a fan or 'superfan' might have been behind the abduction.

This is sad that even now there's little updates on this case.
Hoping Nancy is alive and can still be rescued safely !

My take on this is that a superfan may want to 'meet' SG in person, but would not want to get in trouble and go to prison by kidnapping her mother !
Jmo.

With all due respect, we do not know how we would handle things if we were in the families shoes. We can say that we would react a certain way but until we are in that very same position then we truly do not know.

Fear, grief, sadness, papparazi attention and now the finger of being implicated makes one act in ways we may not understand.

For all we know, LE has told everyone to keep a low profile, avoid speaking to the media and that could very well be what they are doing.

This is my first post sorry I'm new to this. Is there any chance that this lady willingly went with? I understand the reports that she was taken against her will, but I'm just curious if there was any motives on her side to join
She didn’t take her phone, her purse, her watch (which connects to her pacemaker), her very necessary meds, and there are blood drops at the scene. None of this screams “voluntary”.

Possibly. I am wondering why there are numerous blood drops at the front door. If she had a bloody nose and they moved her to a car, only a couple to a few drops would be visible. Why are there many drops directly the front door?
