I do not think this guy was a professional. I think he might’ve been dumb enough to have purchased all of his items in one order at Walmart- either in person or online. I’m assuming Walmart corporate and/or local Walmarts are being asked to comb their sales records for this backpack- and maybe the gloves, flashlight, etc. Walmart keeps meticulous records of my purchases- and now when I go, if I use self-checkout, they know my name by my credit card. I’m hoping he was as dumb as Brian Walshe was…I'm skeptical that the backpack will help find him. Unless he's stupid and bought one a week ago at a local store.
I think they blurred his face because he has not been identified as having anything to do with the crime. His presence in the area and the backpacks might just be a coincidence. This isn't exactly directed at your comment, just jumping on it. If anyone looks at the 2nd video of the guy with two backpacks, they have his face blurred but his skin looks light, like Caucasian, and bald (I don't think he's wearing the face mask in the video). And, another thing: why have they blurred his face if they want tips on who he is????
Sounds like it, yes. An odd thing to do at 2 am.Oh, that's weird. I hadn't listened to the sound before. It almost sounds like a trash compactor or something? It seems like a weird place for that to be, though, so I don't know. Could this be the communal trash drop for an apartment or condo complex? JMO....
Genius! Maybe that's why they raised it.So now, if that guy who wanted the single Bitcoin to rat out the kidnapper is legitimate, hopefully, he will name him now that the reward is higher than the amount he was asking & claim reward.
-It is hard to say what happens when adrenaline kicks in.Don't forget he had a gun. Courage in the face of a gun probably poking into you is not always as brave. I could imagine complete compliance. She was powerless
Fed agents can get warrants to view all purchases of that specific backpack just like they did with the Ka-Bar knife purchases in the Kohberger case. You can buy Ozark Trail backpacks at Walmart and Amazon, so almost impossible to track down, BUT I would ask the Walmart on Speedway Blvd in Tucson for all Ozark Backpack purchases in the last 6 months.
I've not seen it reported anywhere either. However, by personal experience, older relatives are almost totally deaf. Hearing loss is a given in the aging process; it isn't surprising that NG would need them.Do we have proof that Nancy wears hearing aids? I had to skip a ton of pages but haven’t seen anything that says she wears them.
She had her roof resurfaced or painted recently, IIRCHas there been any mention of whether she had any work done at her house in the last few weeks? Lawncare, pool service, housekeepers, plumbers, electricians, roofers, grocery delivers, trash pickup service, food delivery? Any service people at all?
He could have had a WiFi jammer he was trying to use to open the gateThis video (originally posted without the blurred face by nerdy_addict on X) has audio. After twin-backpack man has finished fiddling about, we hear some kind of mechanical sound, which continues as he walks away. Up to that point, it’s all quiet. It’s as if he activated some kind of machine. Any idea what that sound is? Has he tipped something from the backpack into some kind of machine? Am I missing an obvious, commonplace source of this noise? If he were trying to unlock the gate, why lift the backpack?
Surely they’ve ran tests to see if the glove or gloves are even related to the kidnapping?
That is really odd, imo. LE might want to look into that.So I just did a google explore search. I did custom dates from 1/1/25 until 1/30/26. The only time her home was searched for was on January 18th, and it was searched 29 times. I am hoping that they were able to find out from where and maybe that is pushing the dates.
I wouldn’t say AI is that good. It can’t, for example, know something that only Nancy and Savannah know. The problem is with AI you can fake proof of life. And with sophisticated digital forensics, they can track it back to the generator. I am not sure a fool proof way to show evidence of life without doxing the kidnappers exists today.
Someone knows who the Lantana man is, it’s just a matter of time before they report it. Could be someone he lives with, interacts with etc., as an example. They’re going to think about his height, backpack (maybe) and where he was that night (maybe the next day or two also).I think they do. I think there was more than one person involved and Lantana Man was the weak link. The real muscle went in the back and subdued Nancy. My speculation is they're releasing the footage of the guy at the front hoping he'll panic, blab to someone and get the ball rolling.
