I agree that AG and her husband are in a "damned if you do/damned if you don't" situation. Hide your face? Look suspicious. Show your face? Have folks dissect whether or not you look worried enough.

You don't have to be a supersleuth to know family is looked at first. So if it was SIL did he really think he would get away with this? Just went home and thought all would be good. Now if he went missing okay I get it but made no attempt to evade LE. Really got me wondering.
Yes you're absolutely correct.
They(LE) work from the inside and move outwards.

Same! I spent a week literally waiting for updates on my dad when he was in the hospital 7 hours away. I couldn't be there and I was a hot mess. However, with the media coverage I could see AG not wanting to be photographed. Because then people will claim she looks rough 🙄 I'd hate to see the pictures that would show up of me if anyone followed me around taking pictures! Yall would all be trying to figure out why I was making a rbf and analyzing 😂 Bottom line is everyone handles things differently i guess.
Where is Nancy?? This case is just bizarre to me
Me too :( I can't even imagine...
My heart really goes out to Savannah & all her family & friends. Hopefully mom Nancy comes home safe n sound soon!

I'll just say if my mom was missing I wouldn't be thinking about who's getting photos of me and wouldn't care if I even combed my hair or brushed my teeth that day! My only thought would be my mom... not hiding my identity but that's just me.
Same here

Thinking about potential motives.

"Qui bono?"
And not just who benefits, but how.

In so many cases we've followed, the motive proves to be a monetary/financial one.

After Helene, my sister and dad had zero cell service. They were fine, minimal property damage. But the hours waiting to know if they were ok was excruciating! I just can't imagine how SG and family are feeling

you're not wrong, but putting that out there without LE being involved isn't good, even if she is correct.
She expressed utmost trust in the source, so will be interesting if it turns out she was given wrong info.

OK, I'm just gonna put this out there. I think the flatbed truck is the distraction. Almost an hour ago this notification was sent out to LE https://www.uscrimeradar.com/m/2283...&_f=app_share&send_time=1770235314&gen_by=ios

I posted pictures for reference. Forgive me if this is not allowed on this thread but I wanted to put it out there. Now there may just be another 80-year-old woman Missing from the same county. IMO I think this is quite a coincidence.
very interesting for sure!

The Pima County Sheriff's Department tells TMZ ... in early January, an elderly man spotted the trespasser at his Tucson home, less than 10 minutes away from 84-year-old Nancy's house. The sheriff's department said the case was forwarded to the unit investigating Nancy's case for possible leads.

TMZ spoke to the elderly man, who says he caught the loiterer in his yard after a motion sensor went off and a floodlight switched on. We're told the light spooked the uninvited guest, who fled on foot before anyone could get a good look at his face. The man noted there was no break-in attempt and nothing was stolen from his yard.

I'm not sure I could come up with a figure in my head that you could pay me to wander around in that desert at night.

It is odd. This is roughly 30 minutes from NG's home.

Hopefully a Police Information Officer (PIO) will be assigned for the PCs and try to streamline the information to avoid misinformation.
Here I go again…the sheriff said Thursday is when the next press conference will be, but why? Is something coming together behind the scenes that will be announced Thursday? If there isn’t any new information that’s of real importance, why have it? Does anyone else think this?

How heavy are the lids? Would you need some type of equipment to lift it off?
No. They are fairly lightweight. I think they are made of some kind of thick polyethylene. Heavier than a 24" round garbage can lid, but easy for one small person to unscrew the bolts, then lift and set aside.

Here is a pic:

One of the interesting snippets from the AB video was when she talked about her law enforcement source speculating about why anyone would want to kidnap an 84-year-old woman. According to AB at the 20:23 mark of her vid, here's what the LE source said:

"So, you look at people who would have a benefit to an 84-year-old woman going away, disappearing or dying....
Sometimes it's somebody who has an an insurance benefit from that.
Sometimes it's somebody who may benefit because there's a debt...and that may be helpful."

AB goes on to point out these are just musings from the source, not evidence.

In so many cases we've followed, the motive proves to be a monetary/financial one.

Some people's eyes are bigger than their wallets.

And that's all I have to say about that.
For now.
