Something I can't get out of my head:

SG called Sen. Mark Kelly immediately after 911 was called. Why?

I worked for a US Senator and it is NOT unusual for constituents to call, even if they aren’t acquainted with the office holder, when they’re in difficult and challenging situations. Senators have an incredible amount of resources at their fingertips and unfettered access to federal administrators and agencies.

Yeah when I looked at the map I figured it was somebody who lived a mile or two south across that main road.

I’m shocked the possible perps were located north. Nice homes. Can’t even trust wealthy neighbors. Sad.

IF it turns out that the actual perps were two miles away this entire time, I will be shocked. (I like the term our UK friends use: "gobsmacked.") Last night, I opined that if they were smart, they'd be nowhere near Tucson. I thought they had crossed the border and were hiding out. I can't wait to find out if they actually have Ransom Person and Porch Guy in custody. Criminals are stupid. MOO.

It’s in the same general area as NG. I am also in the area. I know you’ve mentioned a crime map. Crime is low in our area. Tucson is a weird place with crime pockets that are a few miles from expensive areas. But this neighborhood is low crime.

I think that poster means the map of the NG house and the media staging area tonight—not a crime map per se—but showing where NG crime happened

Thank you for this. Like I said earlier, when we were dealing with my niece missing, it never occurred to us to call our senator first (or second, after 911). Interesting.

BE reporting now on NewsNation that a "massive police presence" is still on the scene, particularly the FBI and an evidence unit. Search warrant is being executed right now at house. A man and a woman came out willingly when 2 SWAT vehicles arrived. A third person, a man, was detained at the traffic stop and is possibly related. BE was also told by authorities they expect to be at the home "all night".

BE also said his sources told him earlier today that something was "going down" tonight because someone in the home was being "surveillanced".

He doesn't have names/identities of the people that were in the home.

His FBI sources told BE that communication has been a "mess" between the sheriff and the FBI and they have been left "out of the loop."

Finally, BE when asked about the white van, said there are a "ton of white vans" in NG neighborhood, people constantly getting work done on their homes, and he wouldn't make too much of this information.

If this person that was purported to live in a home that turns out not to be the home but literally across the street from the home, there would be levels of absurdity and coincidence about this case that will make me consider whether I am, in fact, living in an augmented reality shaped by an algorithm of chaos and malignancy.

I actually counted white vans that I saw today out and about in my neighborhood. I saw 7! I would have never thought there would be that many in just a few hours! I only crossed one 'bigger' street, so I am sure there would be more if I crossed a major road/intersection.

She mentioned she uses intuition in addition to technical details and experience. She shared she has succeeded nearly every time in cases with just fractured skeletal skulls to help ID deceased people.

ETA: "skeletal" and "deceased" for clarity

Yeah she has amazing skills no doubt and having pieces of the skull would be a great starting point to be able to draw off of. I have zero doubt she is exceptionally skilled. And by no fault of her own, I think she has the best intentions. But even by her own words this case is not conducive to being able to make a positive outcome without some guessing due to the mask.

I just can't see that it's of much help in this case, It almost seems like she was asked and she said yeah i'll take a swing at it.

I just don't have much faith in it based on the many cases I've followed.

And if LE had reached out and provided her with details that aren't known to the general public that had more detail I'd probably feel very different.

All jmo but I would be surprised if the perp ends up being identified from that sketch

Swat teams served a warrant at a house in the rain. 1 man and 1 woman detained. While the house situation was developing with SWAT, a white van was stopped and one male detained.

Lots of LE and FBI are at the house. Forensics are there as well. House location was 1.9 miles from Nancys.

BE had the scoop for the first bit. No other big MSM knew it was happening til 30-45min into his.

No word on how this is all related but we are told it is related to Nancy.
