I have been out of the loop for the last 4 hours, can anyone give me a synopsis of what has transpired?

Last I heard was that swat and command center was staging in an area of interest.

I'd greatly appreciate it

SWAT teams converged on a home less than two miles from NG home. Two people detained - a woman, and a man who is described as looking like he could be her son. Simultaneously, a man was detained close by at a traffic stop. SWAT teams and medical examiner all over the house mentioned.

It may be an automated thing through the state, when a crime is reported against elderly there is follow up, perhaps or rabbit hole away.

I tend to think so. Kinda like when CPS is called if something is reported about a child. They automatically show up and make contact.

Swat teams served a warrant at a house in the rain. 1 man and 1 woman detained. While the house situation was developing with SWAT, a white van was stopped and one male detained.

Lots of LE and FBI are at the house. Forensics are there as well. House location was 1.9 miles from Nancys.

BE had the scoop for the first bit. No other big MSM knew it was happening til 30-45min into his.

No word on how this is all related but we are told it is related to Nancy.

all the media ran to a spot in manara, az and were camping out for this swat

minus BE - apparently knew the real location - 1.9 miles away from NG's house. (N PLACITA DE ROJELIO)

BE saw a male and female come out of the house swat surrounded - appeared to be a mom and son situation

since has said a traffic stop happened with a male associated with this stop who was detained (also other rumors circling around of this person perhaps no longer being alive?)

lots and lots of forensic and fbi vehicles have entered the scene since then.

A criminal heart can reside in a wealthy person, as well.

We’ve all read about cases that surprise us, and not every crime is committed by the poor seeking money.

We still don’t know why NG was kidnapped, nor the validity of the ransom notes.

It may well be someone with a record, or someone committing a first crime. It may be someone poor, or someone for whom this is just some kind of thrill.

Rob Reiner’s son was rich; the man who recently killed his former wife (Tepe case) was a heart doctor, to mention two recent cases. Those were motivated by hatred, not by money. Or you get a Murdaugh, or a Mangione. Money without morals.

Yes, it may well be someone poor, desperate, on drugs or anything else at this point. And yes, statistically it’s more likely to have crime in a “bad” neighborhood.

But IMO nothing can ever be ruled out just based on probability, as well as the preconceived notions we all harbor, consciously or not.

I think if Nancy was found alive tonight we would already know. So I'm hoping all of this is just because they were involved in hoax ransoms. I think it would still make sense to have so many entities present until such time as it is proven to be only a hoax. Even then, that still doesn't bode well for Nancy's chances at this time.

ETA: not wanting to think about other reasons for the large presence tonight yet.

Something occurred to me that may have already been posted. I'll be as ambiguous and generalized as I can be. Please delete/blur if not good enough:

If this person is who is claimed to perhaps reside at the purported home and the job description is specifically what is suspected but not confirmed, could this person have been the TMZ email this AM alleging he/she knows who did this and could lose everything or similar if he/she publicly came forward? If so, then AB's reporting may need more consideration.

Editing to add: When I zoomed in I thought it looked like the person was wearing white boots. In another shot, it looks like jeans with tennis shoes and perhaps the bright lights were making it all blend together to look like boots (to me).

I just can’t imagine living to be 84 only to lose your life in such a senseless way. I know it’s highly unlikely but I’m still hoping against all odds that NG is okay. Going to be a long night!

Yeah but it’s pretty rare to have a wealthy neighbor commit a home invasion involving a violent crime against another wealthy neighbor. Sure maybe a fear thy neighbor type property dispute but not a home invasion.

It's a smart thing for anybody in the US to call their senator if they are in some horrific situation like this. Senators have access to tons of resources and can get things rolling immediately.
