If anything, I'd say he was trying to hang the lantana from the top of the Nest to cover the camera. In my experience, rubbery gloves like that have good grip.

But TBH, I don't think he really planned to cover the camera with a porous bunch of lantana.
I think he was going to use the stem of the lantana as a tool to take the nest cam off. Usually you use a screwdriver or a key that comes with the nest cam but it's quite possible the stem of the lantana might have worked. JMO

I totally believe the ransom note writer has ask them to communicate in movie quotes. There is no other way to explain these bizarre movie quotes
yeah i'm thinking they must have. in the very first video, i like everyone else found it a little odd to reference Silence of the Lambs but thought maybe that's what the FBI advises to say.

but this is too coincidental now.

no it's the picture that is in the article. sorry not techie maybe someone else can do it better. I found it interesting because the neighbor told CNN that Nancy's bedroom was on the left side of the house with trees ... I do wonder if LE ever even checked that door for fingerprints etc. It seems like all we ever saw is the big oval entry way onto the covered porch. I had no idea this house even had that patio door. I was searching for if the house had been for sale recently, maybe someone viewed it and remembered her or mentioned something about her famous daughter.
I think I see it. Far left and set back?

Ashleigh Banfield owes TC a PUBLIC apology.
To be fair, I wouldn't be surprised if someone did plant the story with her early on to add pressure in the family and see if anyone turned on each other...as a tactic. JMO But it was still irresponsible all around of everyone..

None of it sounds odd or coded to me. It’s the kind of language that people who truly believe in forgiveness and that all people are inherently ‘good’ use.
I agree but I also think she was coached prior to releasing this. She says the phrase “it’s never too late” 3 times. To me that is significant. It’s a phrase designed to reduce psychological entrapment. Her message/statement is giving the perp(s) or those that may know what happened to NG a mental exit ramp. Instead of the perp(s) or others involved believing there’s no way out of this, she’s reframing that belief. When she says it’s never too late, shes also saying You still have a choice.

I’m glad the family theories can be at least mostly put to rest. I’m sure some will continue to try and convince. Now, off to tidy up my ignore list.

did anyone else notice this picture that shows a sliding glass door also on the FRONT of the house. It has a lil patio I guess in front of it, I can see a chair sitting there.

I would think maybe master bedroom.

In my opinion, it's something financially motivated by someone who at least knew who lived in that house.

It seems to have some level of planning (seemingly bought a whole new outfit for it), I don't feel like a robbery gone wrong resulting in her death would lead to her body being removed.

This part is very much just my opinion from what I've seen, but I feel like NG was standing on the porch when the blood drops occurred. The only motion to them seems to be downward. Maybe they had her stood there as the vehicle pulled up to take her away. This only makes sense if there is more than one perp of course.
bbm

unless they needed her to open a safe and she wasn't giving up the combination easily

You'd be suprised by the reports; most seniors do not wear the emergency buttons/necklace. (see attached) Medical Alert Systems: 2023-2024 Research and Statistics
The Apple Watch gives older people EKG reading sent to their cardiologist, fall detection and emergency notification, and other heart monitoring. The phone is on their wrist and they can contact anyone in a few seconds if an emergency hits. And it is much more fashionable than an emergency necklace.

Yes, but even chimpanzees use plants as tools.
IMO many people wouldn't have thought of using the stem of a plant to get the nest cam off the door. This lantana guy is calm, casual, not stressed and, in this case, good at quickly solving a practical problem. Still curious how his actions and demeanor could be seemingly so relaxed and casual in the midst of what was taking place inside the house. JMO
