In my opinion, it's something financially motivated by someone who at least knew who lived in that house.

It seems to have some level of planning (seemingly bought a whole new outfit for it), I don't feel like a robbery gone wrong resulting in her death would lead to her body being removed.

This part is very much just my opinion from what I've seen, but I feel like NG was standing on the porch when the blood drops occurred. The only motion to them seems to be downward. Maybe they had her stood there as the vehicle pulled up to take her away. This only makes sense if there is more than one perp of course.

IMO many people wouldn't have thought of using the stem of a plant to get the nest cam off the door. This lantana guy is calm, casual, not stressed and, in this case, good at quickly solving a practical problem. Still curious how his actions and demeanor could be seemingly so relaxed and casual in the midst of what was taking place inside the house. JMO

That is what I am assuming they appear bulkier than nitrile gloves and much more sturdy than latex. Where does it say they were disposable nitrile gloves? They appeared to be the thicker bulky not disposable ones.

Ask the FBI they said they were different than the searchers which would be latex or nitrile?

The bulky black ones used in agriculture or the butyl rubber ones used for chemicals or handling things in cold storage, and used commonly in cold weather applications when working on equipment which was my first thought and are not disposable.

Seems a clue to me but ok they are on it and don't need us!

I am familiar with gloves in stores I was looking for a link that described the gloves in question.

Yes I am familiar with the thicker butyl chemical resistant gloves. I use them all the time to refinish firearms when working with solvents like MEK and Acetone prior to ceramic applications. I did a write up many pages back about them.

I get those on Amazon, albeit not in bulk since they are more expensive (usually sold as singles or occasionally a 3 pack). You can also get them at most Home Depot or Lowe's. Not hard to get at all. In that post we talked about how cumbersome they are and how it would be very difficult to draw a firearm and that the suspect would likely not even be able to get his hand into the trigger guard of his gun., and difficult to handle any tool, key, even door handle etc. so it would be an odd choice.

I've seen many articles assuming they are however nitrile gloves, and the explanation give is they look to be layered over other gloves underneath.

IMO there is no way from the Nest footage telling if they are latex, nitrile, butyl etc. but they look like very commonly used and easily obtainable disposable gloves used by mechanics, contractors, medical, etc. They are widely available locally and online.

That honestly doesn’t make sense given the plant is not firm enough to double as a pry bar, it’s very soft. The doorbell cameras are primarily plastic. One well placed elbow could likely dislodge it.

Sheriff said that they were looking for all cameras in the area but the problem is that it is pitch black at night in this area and not much is captured. Also, houses are far off the street with lots of vegetation in the yards that block views.

Is a lantana stem strong enough to do that? I've seen that said many times but I've not seen any proof it can be done. I'd love to know if it's possible to push the tab with a plant stem.

I'd also think he'd have something more sturdy available. A key, a knife, a screwdriver, something from Nancy's house, etc. LE might have video of whatever eventually removed the cam.

To be fair, I wouldn't be surprised if someone did plant the story with her early on to add pressure in the family and see if anyone turned on each other...as a tactic. JMO But it was still irresponsible all around of everyone..

I think LE has the probable perpetrators under surveillance and that LE is intentionally escalating the rhetoric to cause the perps to panic and use their cell phones (which would be monitored) or rush somewhere that might lead LE to more evidence. JMO
