Are we sure there was someone inside with her?
If you’re already inside the house, why go up to the front door camera? Just block it and remove it from inside the front door so you aren’t seen by camera.

IMO he’s by himself. He disables the camera possibly to prevent the camera from picking up his vehicle when it’s time for him to egress. He can’t do it from the inside coming out because he doesn’t know if something is going to go haywire that will cause him to have to exit the front at full speed.

But then again he was sloppy in his attempt to cover the camera so I’m not sure I can see him thinking two steps ahead.

I just want to know what gave him the confidence that there wasn’t a silent alarm system.

Has anyone wondered why they made the helicopters searching for the pacemaker info public?? I feel the perp would immediately then remove the pacemaker from her body..
That seems very unlikely, my opinion only.

Of course we don't know if there was already someone inside. MOO is that there MIGHT have been a guy inside, subduing NG. Maybe he told another dude to go around the outside of the house and disable any cameras and break outdoor lights. Then the perp inside removes NG by exiting the front door evidenced by the trail of NG's blood left on the porch and walkway. Was she slung over someone's shoulder, maybe suffering from a nosebleed as a result from a slight tussle inside? Was she carried out to an awaiting get away vehicle? MAYBE. MOO

Totally agree! I was just stating how dumb it was for him to access the front door camera from outside RATHER then the inside. That was a silly mistake. That’s the only point I was making after rewatching the footage. If this was the only entry point into the house then I get why, but it wasn’t.
It’s definitely obvious the front door was the easiest way out with her. Walking around the garage to the front carrying her would be super difficult.

I have brightened and oversaturated the video (attached). Not sure it makes any difference but why not!

In Tricia’s chat people have said that LE has cleared the family but the FBI has not.
So it sounds like nothing has changed, officially .jmo

Can we assume that the fact that the backpack was sold exclusively at Walmart is a significant breakthrough? Apparently, Walmart is known for their comprehensive “tracking” of purchasers, even having video of cash purchases.

Also, although the rest of the items could have been purchased elsewhere, I’d think that since they’re also sold at Walmart, and the backpack is only sold there, the perp may have purchased some of the other items there as well,

I wonder how long it takes Walmart to track down these purchases?

I noticed this just now. Look at his droopy upper eyelids. They look to be almost covering his upper lashes. I thought he was quite young at first till I noticed this. View attachment 645655
I noticed this earlier too. Eyes usually don’t droop until after 40 and mostly later than 50. IMO

I was out most of the day and it’s hard to keep up with the threads. I feel such a strong sense of sadness. They have not arrived at a motive? I just cannot imagine the pain. I wish there was a way for FBI to pay ransom when it is first asked for and then track down the perps. Surely they have the tools to find them now.
Once again, this is a highly complicated case. With very strong emotions felt by Nancy’s family. Sounds like a case where fear and superstition is trumping science and technology once again. (My opinion only)

I think that he WAS looking for something to block or smash the camera, but my point was about how he was moving about... it was like he was told to grab the plants beside the walkway, so he looked directly down to one side and didn't see any there and then was told to step down out of the walkway to grab the plants there. It was like he was following instructions as they were spoken aloud to him.
I like this theory! He could have been being spoken to by the perp from inside the house THROUGH the screen door! The black screen door does not have glass over it like some think (I had the same Home Depot security screen door at my last house). Maybe the guy inside had subdued NG and was ready to bring her out through the front door to an awaiting vehicle, but asked the guy outside to disable the camera first. The screen door remained closed because you can see the knob in the Nest camera.

In my opinion it’s exactly what you said, but they’re hoping that the perp (who they are watching closely) will lead them straight to Nancy.

Apparently, Walmart only keeps video of purchases for 90 days. Let’s hope he bought the backpack recently.

I never see the perps eyes blink but that could be from adrenaline....

in earpiece ??
Maybe in earpiece. Maybe just talking loudly through the window beside the door.

"Not there 'ya dummy, go further out and step down, THERE - to your right!"

(ETA: I hope they swabbed the interior of the window beside the door opening.)

And my point is your theory would be a good one if the perp was ALONE. But, if he had an accomplice then each of them has a particular job to do. Guy inside subdues NG and guy outside disables cameras, breaks lights, and also acts as the look out.

Here is my glaring question. Ca you see anything at all after he puts flowers on the door? Who removed them? If there is even a sliver open, we should see them leave with Nancy or atleast blobs unfocused shadows moving by, right? I almost feel like the video was staged, by who I dont know. It’s all so fishy!

JMO whoever cleaned the roof recently is involved. LE has hopefully looked through NG’s records to see who she’d paid within the week of her abduction and any flyers in her house, calls made to handymen, roof companies, gutter cleaning services, painters. Could be why they called the pool company and landscapers to come out- get their dna discreetly in case they performed a side job cleaning the roof.

If he disables from the inside there’s the risk of not being able to disable the camera if something were to go wrong. Say NG bursts out of her room with an ak-47(not being serious)Then he has to make a decision to get out fast. He leaves out the front, gets in his car that’s probably to the left of the house and he pulls forward to get out, then his vehicle may be caught on camera.

I might be giving this guy too much credit for planning idk.
